Walking the SCW a week or two ago we had the great good fortune to stay with Mr & Mrs Anderson for two nights, allowing us to cover two sections of the SCW easily and securely.. A lovely welcome, great support and thoughtful care. Difficult to do more than say thank you so much. Excellent and faultless. McQ

A simply wonderful and unforgattable b&b in every way! I stayed here two nights while walking St. Cuthbert's Way (Donald picked me up after my second day's walk to Morebattle and brought me back the next morning to continue on). It is located right off the Roman Road, so it's incredibly convenient -- and the Andersons are such lovely hosts!... More

We stayed here on the first night of the St Cuthberts Way. 15m from Melrose. Boots cleaned and aired. Transport to the local restaurant. Fantastic breakfast and so much choice. Everything we needed in the room and bathroom and a good nights rest. Friendly, helpful hosts Mary and Donald that made the next 21 miles so much easier. It is... More

My dad and I stayed here on the night after our first day walking St Cuthbert's Way. The instructions on how to get there seemed a bit daunting but when you come across it, it is actually quite easy to find! The path up to it is a bit rough though! We were glad we hadn't carried on further to... More

Arrived early on St Cuth's Way Melrose to Holy Island. Made very welcome. Boots taken care of and small amount of washing done by Mary; travelling schooner rigged so very grateful for the offer. All the magic touches to make our short stay relaxing and stress free. Would recommend to anyone. Don't miss the turn off from Deere Street!!

A first class B&B of the highest order. We stayed for 4 nights whilst walking part of the St. Cuthberts Way and we could not have been made more welcome by our hosts Mary and Donald Anderson who even assisted us with the logistics of getting to and from our starting and finishing points. There is a rough path from... More

A great and very welcoming stop. Our hosts even had our boots cleaned and ran us up to the golf club for our evening meal. Thank you again. Would recommend this place to anyone and you don't have to be walking. Room was very comfortable and a lovely breakfast.
