Nice bed and breakfast located in the heart of the village, close to parking and plenty of walks. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was tasty and set me up for my 2 days of walking while in the area. Recommend staying here as it is a good base for exploring this part of the lakes.

We recently stayed here when attending a wedding in the area. Mark & April were welcoming and we felt very at home. For me it had that 'classic' b&b feel to it. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, locally sourced and very tasty!

We stayed here for two nights for a wedding over the road, the location is beautiful and the views are wonderful. We were sharing a bathroom and I must admit I found it odd that considering we were sharing a bathroom our bedroom was located on the floor above. The rooms were cosy (bit small) and the bed was very... More

This was our 4th stop on C2C along with our dog Incey, we had a comfortable (if a little small) attic room, Mark the owner had kindly carried our bags up the 2 narrow flights of stairs which after a days walking was much appreciated. We enjoyed a home cooked evening meal and were set up for the day with... More

Stayed here for two nights and what a super little gem it is, Mark & April were very nice people, the place is kept spotless and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was great and Mark could not do enough for us, shame we did not have an evening meal there as another couple who stopped at the same time... More

We stayed here for one night over the weekend. We arrived quite late and we're greeted by Mark who showed us to our lovely room. The room was a good size and we were lucky enough to have our own en-suite. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for a long day walking. Overall a fantastic b&b in a wonderful... More

Great location stayed with friends as an alternative venue for wedding, great village. Bit of confusion over the rooms as a few of all booked in but it's only a small place so they managed to re arrange things. Small and cosy. Only bad point is I could not turn down the radiators which seemed to be on full all... More

We visited to attend a wedding at a local venue. Mosscrag is very comfortable, clean and great value. The owners, Mark and April were very welcoming and were happy to let the ladies in our party use the lounge area as a temporary hairdressing salon prior to the wedding. The breakfast is a great start to the day, the full... More

We stayed for one night after spending a day at the sailing centre. As Mosscrag is only a couple of minutes walk away it was ideally located after a long day. From outside Mosscrag looks very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately inside it looks quite dated. Our bedroom was not en-suite which was okay for just one night and the bathroom... More
