This Parador is in the heart of little Olite, in the middle of Navarre and the wine country. Easy drive to innumerable wonderful sites. The hotel is right on the square, easy luggage unloading and free parking is a block away. The Palace and cathedral are next door and worth the small entry fee. The room is huge, bathroom very... If you want to get away from it all then this restored castle in the heart of Olite is the place. I had been spoiled as I came to Olite after staying at the more impressive Hondarribia Parador (4 Star). The castle at Olite is more impressive from the outside than the inside as it abutted the church and the... More

Olite, a nice old village with a beautiful ( restored ) castle. The partly historic parador offers what you can expect from a three star hotel. As a lot of restaurants where closed on the sunday we had our diner in the parador. And we enjoyed it. Breakfast was good and the overall service friendly. You can drive to the... More

The first visit to this parador was 2 years ago for a single night with no time to explore the area. This time we stayed 2 nights and had the chance to explore the small towns and villages in the area, all steeped in the history of this less tourist ridden area of Spain. The staff at the Parador could... More

Is not easy to find the entrance to the walled city, which leads you to the Parador. But once you're in you will enjoy every moment you spend at the hotel and strolling trough the the small city streets, that will make you fell you're back in the middle ages. Two must visits while you are there: 1 -The Iglesia... More

Parador in old castle in beautiful village/city. Nice place to stay one night. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff. Our room had a window against next building. Ask if they have any room with open view. Hotel doesn't have parking places, but there were several spaces available nearby.

Typical Parador - classic Spanish old world charm. Situated in the middle of Olite, a small town in the Navarra wine region. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 101 but had no noise transference problems - see earlier review! Room was a good size but not huge. Two small chairs and coffee table were useful but... More

We stayed one night in the hotel and it was overall a great experience. The hotel retains its historic feel while being modern and comfortable. The restaurant quality was good as well and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It's for sure a different kind of hotel experience but worth experiencing

We booked direct via the web site and received the golden days discount of 30%. This reduced the tariff for our one night stay from 236E to 165E for a superior room. Certainly the Paradore is impressive and a wonderful restoration. Our room 101 was large, with a canopy over the bed and a modern bathroom. So far so good.... More
