Need an unexpected surprise- stay at the Parador in Olite. I almost canceled the reservation as it seemed to be too small a city - were we glad we didn't make that mistake. Amazing hotel - location and historically. Adjacent to the castle, the facilities have been rebuilt but kept all of the original charm including suits of armor and... More

Great hotel with amazing location. You truly feel like royalty here. Do yourself a favor and stay here! The castle itself is a sight to see! The city is truly a gem. The winding and cobble stone streets feel like your in old times. The staff in the hotel are great and do everything they can to accommodate you.

We stayed six nights at the Parador de Olite while traveling in Spain. The staff knows exactly what customer service means. They were attentive and ready to provided help for any request. Located on the Plaza Teobaldos, it is adjacent to the church and castle. We watched families gather in the plaza each night to socialize and watch their children... More

This was not listed on any of my maps. Driving from Murcia in Spain to the UK I saw a little sign just outside Zaragoza which has some pretty awful hotels, the sign said Olite Paradore. Some Spanish Paradores are OK some are not. This one was a little hard to find as the main (only) entrance is a 100... More

Cockroaches in our bathroom and public bathroom next to bar was disgusting ... the restaurant lacked any ambiance and we had soulless meal .... that said, the building is beautiful and our room full of character. However, the bathroom experiences clinched it and we checked out and stayed somewhere different the following night.

On our road trip through Spain and once again using the Paradors. Olite has a fabulous location within a lovely town and the room was beautifully appointed and had a lovely little veranda overlooking the countryside. The dinner and breakfast was of a very high standard and the staff were all very pleasant. Book the Paradors at the right time... More

My husband and I stayed at the Parador de Olite in October, 2014. We had previous stayed there a number of years ago, and at that time they had their own running of the bulls, with the residents of the city bedecked in white with red scarves. This time we stayed in a beautiful, large suite with a fireplace, and... More

We stayed at the Parador in Olite for our anniversary last year for two nights before heading on to the Parador in Alava. Normally we stay at paradores when travelling for work but this time it was to relax. Having said that it was the second time we had tried to stay there as a few years earlier we booked... More

We stayed in the old part which meant large room, high ceiling, windows high up and dark, tired furnishing made the room quite dark. The staff were friendly, breakfast was good and the evening meal was reasonable if not memorable. We had decided that we had to stay in one parador during our 5 weeks round Spain but they all...
