The photo is misleading, the pool is half the size & location is not in medieval city but rather main road/suburbia BUT the manager is friendly, speaks English & the hotel has charming traditional decor, it is quiet, clean & has free wifi. So initial impressions aside it is super comfy.

We stayed one night in this hotel, for a reasonable price we had a large room with nice furnishings and a clean modern bathroom. The room was spotless. The hotel itself is well laid out, with a small, refreshing pool. It is close to Olite, a mere 400 metre walk brings you to the entrance of the old town. In... More

We arrived to the hotel after a bad experience with our cottage hotel and it was the best of our trip. It is very beautiful middle-ages look. The hotel is very clean, with very big well furniture rooms. We got a superior room for the price of a regular one. The hotel has a small kitchen for the guests in... More

We spent three nights in this hotel while visiting Pamplona (San Firmin!), Ujue, Bardenas Reales, Olite itself... and found it a perfect hub for visiting the south part of Navarra. It is located at the outskirts of Olite in a suburbian area, though we did not find this to be negative as there was no noise or disturbance from the... More

El Juglar had its work cut out since we had just come here from the treat of staying in Marques de Riscal - so it was always going to be a tough comparison. The hotel does look nice from the outside though and our room had a nice little balcony sitting area, but there was little else to make me... More

The staff is very friendly. Located at the entrance of Olite and yet no noise. It has beautiful rooms with exquisite decoration and a great garden to take a local wine (Ochoa Tempranillo is recommended) as the sun warms you in winter.

A friendly welcome at this hotel, on the road going north out of the town, in a fairly new building which looks from the outside and is furnished throughout in an historic style in keeping with the rest of the town. The rooms are all individual, spacious and equipped to a very high standard. The en-suite bathroom was modern and... More

First family trip to Europe with no set plans. Hated Pamplona so headed back to Olite. Hotel El Juglar is immaculate. Beautiful landscape/outdoor pool. Accommodating. Only had 1 queen bed available but arranged 2 fold out beds. 1 night 145 Euro. Enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony. Lovely place!
