Great location, inside the old castle walls facing the ocean. Quiet spacious rooms, very comfortable, spacious bathroom. Minus note, lack of coffee amenities in the room. AC wasn't working properly, In any case, I recommend it, be it in business or leisure.

From the point of view of location, this must be one of the best hotels in Spain. No matter where your room there are stunning vistas, and all surrounded by 3000m meters of medieval walls. The public rooms are wide fresh and airy: The outside bar terrace had amazing views back over the town, and service was friendly. WIFI was... More

As our title suggests, the property itself with its lovely grounds overlooking the Atlantic Ocean along with the wonderful setting and excellent views make this one of the most breathtaking places to stay one can imagine. If we are looking for a balancing statement, the bar and dining room, while both very pretty could do with a re-think and more... More

We stayed in the Baiona Parador in August and enjoyed the rich historic character of the building, magnificent sunset views from its terrace and delicious and copious breakfasts. The rooms however are in need of a renovation; "tired" would be the kind term and "shabby" would be the unkind one. The hotel was last renovated 15-years ago and I think... More

Delighted to have the chance for a 6 night stay. Not exactly cheap but my wife and I thought it good value, prebooked on a half board basis, with a bit extra for a lovely sea view and the sound of the surf to await our waking. The location is just perfect on a headland surrounded by old walls giving... More

Depends of course what you are looking for.... For us, 3 days relaxing after a heavy workload this was perfect & the stunning views were so relaxing, ( it's worth the extra for a sea view room) The fact that you can walk to the town in minutes for a huge selection of excellent bars cafés & restaurants without the... I was looking forward to this Parador and I was not disappointed. The views are stunning and the Parador superb starting with the best staff at reception that were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Stayed 2 days and loved it. Comfortable room, good views, pool and bar-area terrace with good bocadillos at lunch time. They have 2 restaurants and both were... More

Beautiful hotel in an excellent setting. Nice pool and outdoor bar. Parking outside on the premises free of cost. Wifi signal a bit weak. Breakfast area can become crowded. Nice walks on the walls around the fortress

I won't repeat what everyone says about the views and grounds: astounding and mesmerizing. What to know: room choice matters. Ideal rooms are second floor, bay view, but not directly above outdoor cafeteria terrace. Speaking Spanish helps. We love the Taverna on the grounds for meals. Amazing views, perfectly fresh gallego food. The parador has a lovely pool, beaches all... More

This is a modern Parador built within the fortified walls of the old castle overlooking the sea and the resort of Baiona. The quality of the hotel and restaurant was everything that you would expect from a Parador but the location was absolutely stunning! Only a few minutes into the town for all the cafes and bars, and beeches easily... More
