One of the most beautiful towns in Spain. The views from the parador are spectacular. Room was standard, food exquisite, service and staff were excellent. Since i dont rent a car I rely on public transportation or taxi and the parador is not in the center of town, is a good uphill walk. Other than that I cannot wait to... More

Imposing location, curious combination of styles between the bedrooms and the public spaces We were there out of season and was very quiet so lacked ambiente Dinner was acceptable but not memorable All in all not the best parador we have stayed at!

My party of 6, including two young adult nephews loved the location of this Parador. I have lived numerous years in Europe and traveled extensively throughout the world and this area is breathtaking. The four youngest in our party enjoyed numerous hikes on the 2km walls or below the walls on teh 3km path. Both routes provide world-class vistas. It... More

Great location, inside the old castle walls facing the ocean. Quiet spacious rooms, very comfortable, spacious bathroom. Minus note, lack of coffee amenities in the room. AC wasn't working properly, In any case, I recommend it, be it in business or leisure.

From the point of view of location, this must be one of the best hotels in Spain. No matter where your room there are stunning vistas, and all surrounded by 3000m meters of medieval walls. The public rooms are wide fresh and airy: The outside bar terrace had amazing views back over the town, and service was friendly. WIFI was... More

As our title suggests, the property itself with its lovely grounds overlooking the Atlantic Ocean along with the wonderful setting and excellent views make this one of the most breathtaking places to stay one can imagine. If we are looking for a balancing statement, the bar and dining room, while both very pretty could do with a re-think and more... More

We stayed in the Baiona Parador in August and enjoyed the rich historic character of the building, magnificent sunset views from its terrace and delicious and copious breakfasts. The rooms however are in need of a renovation; "tired" would be the kind term and "shabby" would be the unkind one. The hotel was last renovated 15-years ago and I think... More

Delighted to have the chance for a 6 night stay. Not exactly cheap but my wife and I thought it good value, prebooked on a half board basis, with a bit extra for a lovely sea view and the sound of the surf to await our waking. The location is just perfect on a headland surrounded by old walls giving... More

Depends of course what you are looking for.... For us, 3 days relaxing after a heavy workload this was perfect & the stunning views were so relaxing, ( it's worth the extra for a sea view room) The fact that you can walk to the town in minutes for a huge selection of excellent bars cafés & restaurants without the... I was looking forward to this Parador and I was not disappointed. The views are stunning and the Parador superb starting with the best staff at reception that were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Stayed 2 days and loved it. Comfortable room, good views, pool and bar-area terrace with good bocadillos at lunch time. They have 2 restaurants and both were... More
