We spent 3nights at this Parador and everything was just amazing! Front desk clerks and waiters very kind, the breakfast excellent with a delicious ham, dinner was great, and the caffeteria's tapas yummy! The room was super clean, full of fantastic amenities, the bed was comfortable, the ocean view was just perfect! The location is great! Full of parking lots.... More

The setting of this Parador is lovely in a fortress overlooking the sea. There are lovely walks to be had around the site with great view of the sea. The building itself is ideal for a hotel and the rooms are generous in size and fitted out to the usual Parador standard. The lack of charm comes from the staff... More

We stayed 12/31-1/2/14 in a beautiful suite with amazing views. Right up from the grand entrance, our suite had marquetry floors throughout. Apparently this is part of the property that at one point was part of the palace. Beautiful. Service provided by everyone from housekeeping to wait staff was warm, friendly, efficient and spot on. Our son had a blast... More

Stayed here once before quite a few years ago and again marveled at the location on a peninsula, surrounded by walls of the former fortress. Within20 km quite a few moderate walks/hikes to indulge our avocation, and the town itself is full of restaurants serving marvelous seafood. Typical Parador restaurant, rather overpriced and only fair quality. Seem to have missed... More

We arrived here on day 5 of our walking the Camino de Santiago. The views are beyond spectacular. The grounds are lovely to walk. The rooms? Average or below. The beds were terrible, and the pillows should be tossed out and the should purchase new ones. The Decor on the rooms was tired and could be refreshed. It was clean,... More

We did not stay at this hotel, but you can also pay to go into the grounds. (1 Euro each) It's a gentle 10-15 minute slope up to some of the best views I have seen of the Galacia region! There is a small church, where they still perform weddings, and a large hotel, which you can enter as a... More

Great position and a sympathetic renovation for the hotel. We got a good deal and thought that the rooms were adequate - clean, comfortable and plenty of space . Easy walk into town and nice views from the ramparts. We ate in the Tapas bar which is in the grounds of the hotel - food was good and cheaper than... More

What a position to have an hotel. Fabulous views everywhere. Walk around the Parador on the walls surrounding it for a truly wonderful experience. However, we were very annoyed because, having arrived at lunchtime from a very boring and hot drive from Santiago, we were told there was a wedding in progress. First of all, as we were meeting friends... More

This was the first Parador we stayed in and it is in a stunning location with great interesting historic places to explore around the grounds and some nice beaches. We had upgraded to a sea view room and were expecting something quite special due to the stunning location, but, when we were shown to our room, at the extremity of... More

I loved this place especially for it's location. The view is fantastic and really close to Baiona center. Also restaurant is good but little bit expensive. Breakfast is rich with the opportunity to have saulty or sweety food.
