We needed a place near the archaeological caves so we picked La Casona de Revoigo in Santillana del Mar. The place was clean. The room was not fancy but it served our purposes for our one night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful

The hotel is ok and staff are correct but not overly friendly. Our main issue was with some plumbing problems and the way the hotel dealt with it. We visited with two families and stayed for several nights. On our second night there our bathroom flooded with a leak from the ceiling (room 103). With two small children this was... More

Once we had found the hotel (tip - your satnav may take you to the opposite end of the park!), we were delighted with it. The check-in was very quick and we were taken to a huge and well-equipped room overlooking the 'village green'. The location was quiet (once the day-trippers had finished their picnics) and only about 5 minutes... More

Wonderful, traditional accommodation. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Family friendly location. Excellent cold buffet breakfast and relaxing area to sit and have a drink outside. We had a lovely large bedroom with air con and mini bar. Hotel doesn't have its own restaurant but it is walking distance from lots of restaurants and cafes. Would highly recommend.

So relaxing from the moment of arrival. Lovely rooms in the authentic style of baroque Spain. Close to the medieval centre but far enough out to be individual. Lovely friendly staff eager to assist and to make your stay the best. So relaxing to sit in the sunshine, or shade, and just chill in the tranquility. Breakfast is simple but... More

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting the Basque Country. This is a fantastic little hotel. Old wooden beam building but very nicely refreshed with modern fittings. Family Room and bathroom were all very clean and there must be some kind of heating as we weren't cold overnight at all. Then a very relaxing breakfast here (although they don't... More

No doubt that the hotel is beautiful and in a great location, but there's nothing worse than receiving bad service. The staff was nice, yes, but we had a HUGE problem for the one night that we were there and all we got was a "sorry." The room we stayed at had apparently a broken pipe issue (which they later... Dear Guest: I apologize for the inconvenience Customers in the room above yours caused a massive overflow of water during 30 minutes which caused the leaks in your room Unfortunately The hotel was fully booked and it´s true that we couldn´t change you to another room. We hope to compensate you in future occasions Thanks a lot More

We stayed in a charming small hotel just outside the historic village. The location was superb. We were on a small park used by everyone, tourists and locals alike. The staff of the hotel could not have been nicer. There were public rooms to lounge in, a bar, and a garden off it to relax and have a drink. Some... More

The location of this hotel next to a park was fine for visiting the historic area of Santillana del Mar, which was just a short walk up the road. The Altamira Cave Museum is a short drive away. The hotel is picturesque, with antiques and wood accents, and there is parking available on the street. The staff are nice and... More

Just loved our spacious room, with dark beams, lovely furniture and... WHOOHOOOOO; the jacuzzi! Very friendly staff, breakfast was fine/okay. Free WiFi. Didn't see much of the village, despite the 3 minutes walk; stayed in the tub all day...
