We love the old paradors and staying in the middle of the historical parts of Spanish cities. The Gil Blas did not disappoint. Stayed two nights in July 2008. Overall impression is 4-star accommodation with 2-star service (at best). Check-in seemed to go on for ever. Stayed on half-board basis and would discourage others from doing so.
