We really enjoyed staying here. They could not do enough for us. The house is lovely, the rooms big, and the area quiet. It's nothing fancy, just very homey feeling. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom large, and we never ran out of hot water. It is meticulously clean. It's so wonderful to be able to stay in a traditional... More

We had an overnight stay here and very pleased we did. The house is traditional and charming. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The place and rooms were spotless. Great location and easy parking, short stroll into town. And the owner has some fabulous artwork on display. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay here again.

The large illuminated signs ensured we found this Posada, the warm friendly informative welcome and the eagerness to please as well as the excellent facilities ensured we would want to visit again. On arrival we were given a map of Santillana as well as information about the place. The Posada was warm with central heating throughout and wonderfully decorated in... More

Great location. Quiet, just outside of the center, but within a 5 minute walk. The room had a lot of character, cozy, and with a big bathroom. Very clean. Excellent Hosts. Would highly recommend this place!

This little establishment on the edge of Santillana was perfectly located - 5 minutes from the old town and a short trip to Altamira caves. I'm not sure if any English was spoken at all, but it was a good chance to get a proper Spanish experience in what appeared to be a family run small hotel. There's no air... More

Lovely little hotel just outside of the "old quarter". Staff very welcoming and helpful. Bedroom small but very comfortable and bathroom good too. Like most spanish hotels, there are no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast comprised selection of meat & cheese plus pastries. Orange juice and tea/coffe. Again the staff were very friendly. Good base for walking... More

Having just done one week of random hotels of varying price and quality, this was a breath of fresh air. We dust tested every part, including hard to reach light fittings, stairs, nooks and crannies and found absolutely no dust or dirt. The owner could not have been more helpful when we told him we wanted to go off the... More

This small hotel is family run and the family are very friendly and welcoming, particularly Araceli who was charming and helpful, always around to assist and make sure everything was OK. Breakfast was very good and extremely good value. The hotel's location is a few minutes' walk from the centre of the village, and parking was available on the drive.... More
