This is a pleasant quiet hotel in a friendly and quiet small town. The basic rooms are a bit small so has happens so often only one person can sit down at a time (we were in 104). Our room looked out on to a street, but there was no real noise problem. The windows have those big internal wooden... More

Thanks for your replay. In June we will have a new website with pictures of all rooms, so you can see the size of all our rooms and you will see the difference between the Double Standar room and Double Superior. With regard to CD player, I´ll make a note to change in the future. Best regards Paloma Moriana -... More

As stated by others beautiful building with great modern rooms. Service very good, breakfast large and varied buffet. Stayed as part of cycling trip with Tenerife Bike training and could see why they had chosen this Hotel. Weather wasn't brilliant so didn't use the jacuzzi and sun deck but could see how special they would be. Lovely little town, plenty... More

Excellent central square location, relaxed and friendly staff who are always willing to help and assist in any way. The central courtyard is a quiet and peaceful oasis. The standard rooms are undoubtedly on the small size but totally adequate for our visit.

This is a friendly, relaxed boutique hotel. It offers a good level of facilities and comfort without any pomp or formality. The owners have done a great job of renovating the historic building - keeping the essence of the colonial architecture, while providing the usual modern amenities. The courtyard has a real sense of calm about it. We would happily... More

This was our second year in a row to stay at this LOVELY hotel. It is beautifully decorated in and out of the rooms. The included breakfast is a superb buffet. The staff are all very friendly with their help and constant "olas". Everything is kept amazingly clean, including a great bedroom clean each day. The "public area" outdoors, couch... More

Shall we get the negatives over with first? Standard rooms are very small and to be honest, the shower needs a little attention to help it drain properly and to tackle some of the mildew. Also, should that light fitting really be in such close proximity to a water source? Rooms are not exactly blessed with impeccable soundproofing either so... More

We returned to La Quinta Roja in Garachico for the second time. It really was great to be back, to again meet with the friendly staff, and to enjoy the beautiful interior garden. Breakfast was very yummy.

This is a lovely hotel in the main square of this charming historic town. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are lots of places to eat very close by and the friendly receptionist gave us some good advice about where to eat. We booked a double room. The room (104) was a reasonable size with nice shower... More

We stayed here for four nights as part of our walking holiday. Really tasteful conversion of a very old buildinge. Our room 106 was one of the cheaper ones but was fine, with enough space, en-suite etc. Lots of seating in the enclosed open courtyard but a bit cold when we were there for sitting out. The continental breakfasts were... More

Used La Quinta Roja as my base for a week's walking around Tenerife - a great decision. An historic building with the comforts like a really powerful shower, ac/heating, wifi, sauna on the roof terrace. Lots of chairs & loungers dotted about the place for intimate chats or soaking up the sun, nothing too much trouble for the staff. Someone... More
