I spent a couple of days in Port de Soller. Booked the hotel especially to stay far away from the more touristy areas. I contacted the hotel via email before I arrived, they were friendly and responsive and everything we discussed worked out. The hotel itself is not the newest building, and quite okay for a couple of days. The... More

This is an average hotel, and reminded me of the 1970 hotels of my childhood holidays in Mallorca! It wasn't my first choice of hotel but choice was limited during the time we were staying due to the Es Firo festival. My perception was that it caters for the mass of German tourists. When the receptionist decided to attend to... More

OK so the bathrooms are typically Spanish in style, bedrooms are simply furnished and there's no remote for the TVs. However everything works, Bathroom is clean, the beds are comfy, staff and owners are friendly and helpful, the drinks are cheap and there's a view and what a view it is.....absolutely stunning. This hotel is priced very fairly for what... More

The hotel is at the far side of Port De Soller. It looks average and in some regards is average, but the location is excellent and the sea view from our room made the difference. It was incredible! The rest is ok, big airy room, comfy enough beds, plenty of space, clean and big bathroom if a little dated, but... More

Another great holiday at Puerto Solller in the value for money Marbell. I've read the other reviews so lets get down to brass tacks! First of all the location is fantastic. Almost on the beach with the most scenic views of the Port, beach and surrounding mountains. The Hotel is slightly dated but every time we go there is an... More

Marbell is lucky, it has a great location looking out over the bay in Port de Soller. It's in a quiet location and handy for the beach. However, the hotel is getting run down and the food is very poor. As I was put here as part of a tour, I didn't get the value of the cheap price that... More

If you are unfortunate enough to be allocated the same room as i was at this hotel i recommend the following: 1) Polyfilla (for holes in plaster) 2) Sander ( for flaking paint) 3) Earplugs ( to attempt a reasonable amount of sleep) 4) insect spray ( Cockroach in room!) As a single traveller, in a large group i will... More

this hotel is like an old house. Everything is going down, noise from the pipes, the service is completely unable to understand what I said... even the price is something of another world. In this "hotel" i won't go back, sure! ... to Soller I will try because is a really nice and relaxable place

If you are looking for a cheap break or inexpensive accommodation for an event as i was, you can not go wrong with Hotel Marbell. As you may expect the hotel is rather dated, my room was clean but very basic & there was a bit of a wiff coming from the air conditioning however it's in a great location... More

Good value hotel in great location overlooking Pto. Soller's beautiful horseshoe bay. Hotel is at opposite end of the 'horseshoe' to the harbour, in a generally peaceful location. Rooms at front have sea view and morning sun, rooms at rear afternoon/evening sun and are quieter. Light sleepers in front rooms may suffer 5.30 a.m. noise from beach cleaning tractor. Confirm...
