Wile staying I Port Soller we visited El Guia for dinner after hearing only good things. We were not disappointed. The food was simply amazing, service very efficient but the restaurant was quiet. Such a shame as it is hidden off the beaten track. Worth looking out for though.

Clean, comfortable hotel and service minded in that classic style (no "design studio" this one!). Perfectly situated around the corner from train/tram and one block from the plaza. Good offer for a spacious room, including a top class breakfast with fresh orange juice, nice baguettes with different topping each day, yoghurt and a pastry. And a second cup of espresso... More

We loved our stay in this hotel. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming and when I managed to sprain my ankle on a hike they went out of their way to help with everything from getting us to the medical centre to providing a cushion for me to prop my foot on! We started our holiday in... More

We were captivated by Sóller and Port de Sóller. We had visited the area twice previously. The beaches, trains, trams and cafés make the area atmospheric and attractive. The only disadvantage wirh staying at the port was the nocturnal music, which kept us awake well jeyond the small hours. Staying in the town was therefore the perfect alternative. El Guia... More

Our stay at Hotel El Guia was a surprise. This lovely hotel has been in operation for three generations. It reflects its history in the furniture and photos . The house manager was very helpful and sweet. I have never been in such a clean and efficiently run establishment. I was concerned we would have noise since the location is... More

In 47 years l have stayed in many hotels but cannot recall ever meeting a " head waiter" with such a poor attitude towards customers. This hotels otherwise is run extremely well and efficiently and the lady who originally met us could not have been more friendly or helpful and was charm personified. The head waiter managed to infect the... More

This is a lovely small hotel situated close to the railway station in Soller, Mallorca. It is very good value for money. Spacious en-suite rooms with air conditioning. Ours had a wonderful mountain view. Cati, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful at all times. Breakfasts vary each day and are delicious, always with the lovely fresh orange juice that... More

We had a large room with view to the mountains. No TV, but we didn't miss that at all. Downstairs lounge was a good spot for reading or using tablet on free wifi. Courtyard has a couple of bench seats too. Convenient location, just metres from the station and town square. Great breakfast- yoghurt, fresh orange juice, rolls with ham,... More

Have just returned from our 4th visit to the hotel. We had a very spacious high ceiling bedroom with dressing area and private bathroom.Breakfast is simple but with high quality produce. The owners and staff run the hotel with great efficiency and the restaurant is well used by locals. In terms of comfort it is not far away from a... More
