Just back from the Gran. We were very pleased with our room - with a large terrace overlooking the front garden. Ate at the hotel on the Friday - a wonderful barbeque, in the very picturesque front garden - the food was cooked superbly. I have never stayed at a hotel where the staff are so genuinely happy, helpful and... more

We stayed here for three nights and four days to get a little sunny break from work. We didn't fancy the touristy bits of Palma so we choose Soller. It is such a gorgeous place! Its sort of like a big village/small town with lots of lovely shops and places to eat. The main square is great at night with... more

Majorca is a wonderful island and a gastronomic delight with produce generally supplied from the island all at a price to fit your purse. Soller, on the north west coast close to Deia and Valldemossa, however, may be the exception. The small cafes surrounding its charming, lively, square are generally mediocre at best and especially disappointing when your'e paying around... more

Recently we were staying in Soller and went to the Gran Hotel for their coffee/tea and cake offer in the afternoon in their beautiful garden. Our order was taken in good time and the lovely cake and coffee arrived promptly. Problems arose when we tried to request the bill. The waiter who served us was no longer on duty. It... more

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful hotel. Fantastic location in centre of Soller. Staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful or welcoming to our young children - nothing was too much trouble. Rooms spacious, well appointed and immaculately clean. Very good food in the restaurant - children catered for too. Fantastic views of... more

This Hotel is a 5 star picture from the outside and passers by are often seen stopping to snap away. However once inside i'm afraid it is little more than 3 Star, 4 star at a push. The rooms are small and our executive double had no internet facility and only 2 English TV channels which were both news.. We arived in... more

We stayed at this hotel between christmas and new years 2007. it was a great time to visit soller as it is not so crowded. The hotel itself was really nice, very friendly staff and comfortable bed. The size of the room was sufficient. However, I don't think I would rate it 5 star. it's prob more like 4 star.... more

We stayed at the Gran Hotel Soller and had a marvellous time. The hotel is set in the beautiful town of Soller and is set back off the street. All the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly - especially the bar and waiter staff - nothing was ever too much trouble and they would bend over backwards to help... more

We stayed in this hotel in april as a part of our shortbreak. The location is stunning, definatelly one of the nicer parts of island. Quiter and unspoilt. Town gets busy in a day but still keeps its 'spanish' charm. Hotel Gran soller is a lovely hotel in a very nice building. Check in was good, but the reception get... more

We enjoyed a relaxing and pampered stay after choosing to take a short break out of season. Hotel staff are very attentive and the rooms (we had a 'Superior' double) and public spaces were all of a very high standard. more
