We stayed here a couple of years ago and can't imagine why I didn't write a review as we were stunned by the excellence of the food. I still remember how pleasantly surprised we were by the quality of the kitchen. This is Michelin star cooking and I would make a special effort to travel here again if it operated... More

We stayed the first night on our eleven day tour of Ireland at Salville House having sailed into Dublin from Holyhead earlier that day. It transpired it was an excellent choice for three reasons. We discovered Salville House through a recent edition of the Sunday Times and decided that it would be a nice end to our recent trip to Ireland. We weren't wrong. If you want good food stay at Salville. Gordon cooks wonderfully and is very inventive and dinner is beautifully served by Jane in a candle lit diningroom. I care a lot about food and it is the only place in Ireland that I can guarante that I will get a memorably delicious meal. Breakfast is equally delicious and dont miss... More
