We were blown-away at the quality of this hotel. We only intended this as a stop-over point on our way through Ireland on a 10 day driving tour. Upon entering our room for the night we wished we had booked in longer. Stunning accommodations, very comfortable and well-appointed beds. Friendly staff and helpful staff. When I had trouble with the... More

I enjoyed staying here. The food was good and the swimming pool etc are excellent. The rooms where really nice and comfortable. I know it might sound crazy but a nice little touch was the free large bottles of water you got to the room everyday. Only one thing i was not mad on was the bar. This is personal... More

I spent the afternoon at the spa with friends thanks to a present of a gift voucher and would highly recommend a visit! The package included a facial, massage and afternoon tea - so both body and spirit catered for. The area is condusive to relaxation and the staff are very pleasant, professional and excellent at ensuring that you leave... More

Big and spacious rooms, nice pool and Leisure Centre. The staff is very kind and helpful. Prices are extremely reasonable and the Bar looks very nice and their bakery is very tempting. Sofa in front of fire place, makes it very relaxing. There is nothing to do in the the area but if you just want to relax on your... More

Steam room has mushroom smell, small sauna not hot at all. Cold showers and no nam/woman signs in changing room. Leisure centre reception called me "crazy", when I returned wet towel, because forgot to put in basket in changing room. First floor confusing by 200-300 room numbers together. Room for smoking very smelly and makes bad impression. Nothing interesting around... More

It is difficult to understand the comments made by this reviewer so I will take point for point. 1 I have investigated the smell in the steam room and at present it is odourless,I am trying to qualify what is a mushroom smell but I will monitor it closely. 2 The ladies and gents changing rooms are clearly signed. 3... The hotel has all the comforts of a 4 star hotel but it is not a place for the romantic weekend away for a couple. It is very much a business hotel, though in saying that the diner was great, the room was great and there is a lovely spa where I had great treatment at a reasonable price. There... More

If you are travelling between Dublin and Cork this is the best place to stop over for something to eat. There is great bar menu and the service is excellent. More

Thank You for taking the time to write such a nice review. My staff who deserve all the credit endeavour to treat all our customers in a friendly yet professional manner sometimes under extreme pressure as we try to run a tight ship in these testing times. More

Stayed here for one night at the beginning of December, with a good value B&B rate. Large comfortable room overlooking an inner courtyard was quiet and well equipped. Good facilities in the leisure centre and the gym (although we didn't sample the latter). Bar is split between the locals and the guests but had a good atmosphere, dinner in the... More
