A wonderful place to stay at the start of our 25 days in Greece, The hosts are most welcoming -going out of their way to assist us with getting around, restaurants to eat at, where to shop...Breakfasts are super - eggs cooked however you request, Morning tea packed for the day and even lunch packed for the four of us... We arrived after a lengthy travel experience from South Africa to find this extremely friendly staff of this hotel making our overnight stay a delight. The bed was very comfortable although the room was very small. The hotel consists of only 5 rooms which all leads out into the iny reception and breakfast room. It has a very good location... More

This small hotel in Nafplio is in a nice location and the rooms are adequately-sized but not spacious. What sets this hotel apart is the warmth of welcome and service from Akiz (sorry if spelling isn't correct!) and his Mother. As soon as you arrive, Akiz brings out a map of Naflpio, asks what sort of things you like and... More

We stayed a week at Aetoma and loved it! The attention to detail here is meticulous. When we arrived, our luggage was whisked up the stairs to our room. We were given a briefing on Nafplio, its restaurants, tourist attractions, and a map marked up with all the info. Immediately the hospitality was apparent ... Did we want tea, coffee,... More

Akis and his mother run this lovely B&B, where you'll feel very welcomed. You'll also be very well fed...the homemade breakfasts are fabulous (and plentiful!). They do everything possible to make your stay easy and relaxed...from giving directions to parking your car (not easy in Nafplion), they were there to accommodate us. Just a really, really nice place to stay,... More

We chose the Aetoma because of the Trip Advisor reviews, but were a little nervous as our travel agent knew nothing about it and was so hesitant he didn't want to book it for us. We are so glad we booked it! The hotel used to be the family home, and it has been meticulously renovated into a hotel with... More

Aetoma hotel is perfectly placed in the center of the historic city of Nafplio with a nice view over a small square (finally something out of the scheme, no sea-view in Greece!). Since the beginning, the hotel's owners' welcome you in a super friendly and accurate behaviour explaining you everything about Nafplio and its surroundings with a glass of orange... More

To make it short, if you like small boutique hotels (5 roos) with very personal service (good restaurant tips), a breakfast brought to your table (5 times more things, than you can eat), a very clean room, a house full of individual taste and charme, then book the Aetoma. We spend a week on the Peloponnes and also some days... More

This was the most unexpected delight. A fabulous welcome from Akis, the most superb room and terrace overlooking the impressive castle that overlooks Nafplio. Sumptuous room and a truly fabulous and generous breakfast. Great recommendations for places to eat. Need to find an excuse to go back!

In a world where it sometimes feels that decently delivered corporate mediocrity is the best one can hope for, it is a joy to stumble across personal service, comfortable surroundings and home cooked and freshly prepared food like I experienced at the Aetoma this week. From the warm welcome and useful tips to the free wifi and quiet and effective... More
