We had a great stay at the Aetoma. I followed someone else's advice and asked for the first floor room (one flight up) with the shower. Highly recommended (it's got a million jets and it was the only real shower we saw in Greece). The breakfasts are like nothing I've ever seen. Eggs made to order, greek yogurt with homemade... More

This lovely, charming, five room family-run boutique hotel in the heart of Nafplio is a treasure. Akis, the son and manager, goes out of his way to be helpful in every possible way. When I became ill he got me a same-day appointment with his doctor, borrowed a car to transport me there, and then checked on my well-being each... More

We stayed here for three nights at the start of our Honeymoon in Greece. We stayed in a lovely double with enquire and a balcony on the first floor. We had a view of the fort from the balcony. Because we stayed for three nights, the owner kindly gave us a lovely bottle of local white wine which we saved... More

Family owned and managed for generations -- and the proprietors are GEMS! They made us feel completely at home in their beautifully restored historic home. The room was extremely comfortable and well-appointed. They gave us a map tour of town and what we needed to see, and gave us great dining recommendations too! When they took our order for breakfast... More

This is the second year we stayed at the Aetoma Hotel. Yes there are 5 star hotels in Nafplio, however don't waste your time with them as this is the only place to stay. We always book the top floor suite as it has a nice fairly secluded good size balcony. Check it out!! I have to say Akis and... More

We checked out of a vv pricey hotel in Athens and immediately felt upgraded when we arrived at the Aetoma. The attention to detail is truly amazing - like pre-organising a car space right by the hotel, an absolutely delicious breakfast in the sun on our terrace and also really really good travel tips and advcie from Akis. Have to... More

This is by far the best Hotel in Nafplion. Since I have family in nearby Kios and Argos, I often visit Nafplion and have stayed in a number of Hotels, none as good as this one. It’s more like a B&B., but the rooms are very private and very well insulated, so you don’t hear the other guests. This was... More

The hotel is located in the heart of Nafplio. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. Our room was on the top floor with a roof terrace over looking the castle . The room was beautifully classic, the breakfast included everything you could wish for and the hospitality most kind .

An incredible value and a great location within old town. A lovely bed & breakfast style setting with a family taking care of all of your details in their heritage home. The wonderfully renovated space has 4 rooms on the 1st floor (2 standard, 2 superior) and 1 large loft room on the top floor. Our standard room had a... More

Beautiful family residence turned into a nice B&B. Not quite a hotel, but very friendly family and very accommodating to traveller's needs. We arrived late on a weekday, and the owner's son met us and made sure we had parking available in the city after unloading our bags. Went above and beyond, even though we only stayed the one night.... More
