We stayed at Pension Marianna for a couple days in late September. We stayed in Rm 1. Park up the hill (by the abandoned hotel) and walk down to the Pension through the castle. Our room was right at the very top w/ great views. Very clean but simple. Mattresses were very hard. Hosts were friendly. Breakfast delicious. Be sure... more

We got married in Nafplio several years ago. We've seen a fair bit of the world and Nafplio is a wonderful town - especially in the off season. And in Naflio, this is the best place to stay. We had our reception up at the Nafplio Palace, but the Yokos family allowed us to have drinks on their balcony (with... more

Pension Marianna deserves its fantastic reputation for excellent location and very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly owners the Zotos brothers. If you don't have a car is even more convenient as it is very close to the bus station. more

Can't think of anything to fault it - excellent location (2 minutes walk to the historic part of town), spotless and spacious rooms and superb hosts who genuinely care about making your stay a great one. We stayed five days and Nauplion makes a good base for exploring the Pennoplese; many of the major sites and attractions are within a... more

The Pension Marianna is owned by the Zotos brothers who are the most gracious of hosts. It is on the hill, just under the rock of Acronafplia and close to the Venetian walls and has beautiful views overlooking the city. The buffet breakfast is homemade with local ingredients and is delicious. This hotel is not for the disabled or unfit... more

We stayed at Pension Marianna for only one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was built right into the hillside with awesome stone walls and a built-in bed nook. The lighting with dimmers was a great touch and the bathroom had the most modern shower that we saw during our Greek vacation. The breakfast area was... more

We stayed for 2 nights at Pension Marianna in a combination of rooms: a double at the heart of the complex and what equated to a small house at street level. Parking initially proved challenging but one of the incredibly friendly and welcoming Zotos brothers raced out to help us - guiding my husband to the car park above the... more

We only had one night in Nafplio but the Hotel and its owners made it a pleasurable stay. Steps may make it difficult for some but the views across the bay are excellent. Rooms are simple and vary betwen those with a view (relatively simple rooms) and those in the courtyard (more authentic with more character). The owners were more... more

Seemingly high above Nafplion, but in reality just steps away from the quaint old town, Pension Marianna offers a really very nice stay. While our room, for 3, was smallish just outside our door was our terrace with table, chairs and umbrella with a beautiful view over the town, the bay, and the Argolid plain. Relaxing there with a bottle... more
