We stayed 1 night but wish it was more. Beautiful location and superb hotel. Swimming pool area was like a Hollywood movie. Room very good and large. You need a car though. Lovely view of the fort. Staff efficient and polite. Recommended good un touristy restaurant too .

We were travelling in a group of six with one in a wheelchair and were given three adjacent wheelchair accessible rooms, all with roll in showers. The one without a glass shower curtain was easiest to use. Access to breakfast was via the basement but this was ok. We were able to access and use the pool as the steps... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night in May 2014 as I was on a tour and I loved it! The rooms are very clean, the breakfast buffet was excellent and it served every purpose I needed. It was a great stop!

We managed to get an opportunity to have a quick get-away with my partner. As we were travelling to Nafplio this hotel was one of the options. As we were travelling we made a reservation. The room was nice with view, quite big and clean. The bathroom facilities were very good. Location is close to Nafplio but you will need... More

On our last night in Greece outside of Athens we stayed at the Amalia Nauplia. It was a great spot. Big, clean and comfortable rooms. Spotless restrooms. Robust WiFi. Multiple bars and a great pool. The food was very good and the staff were warm and helpful. The grounds are lovely and the view of the Venetian fortress from our... More

I stayed at the Amalia for one day during a short trip to the Peloponnese. It was a very enjoyable stay. I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of the premises and the rooms, and the beautiful and relaxing pool area. The location of the hotel is strategic, It is less than an hour's drive away... More

I have stayed in the hotel 10 years ago and I was expecting that it would be outdated. To my surprise it must have been refurbished. Good service. 3 km outside town. Not bad if you have a car and intend to go around to the various beaches.

Liked the location outside the town, as I like sleeping with open window and liked the fact that there was no noise of any sort. I had a very nice big room and big bathroom. The dessert buffet after dinner was fantastic and breakfast had a really big selection, even cake. Handcream in the bathroom would be appreciated, also a... More

By looking at the map, you might think that it is a bit far from the town. On the contrary though it is only about a 10 min walk and a 3 min taxi ride. The hotel is something out of a classic movie where the characters would go to this amazing hotel that was situated on a large piece... More

In no case can Amalia Hotel be considered a four-star hotel. First of all, the behaviour of its manager was totally ironic and rude. Moreover, the rooms were extremely small and dirty. A quadruple bedroom was actually a twin bedroom with two additional camp-beds which were so close to each that there was no empty space in the room. The... More
