We had an excellent stay at this hotel the suite we had was extremely well appointed it was cleaned twice a day and towels were changed all the staff where very helpful and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible I don't think there was anything else they old have done to make it better. The views where... More

Spent a couple of nights in Nafplio - Nafplia Palace looked like it had a great view, and so it does. Yup the breakfast isn't fantastic, the rooms are a bit shabby, but in a pretty grandiose throwback style. 70's style wood panelling in the bedroom? Check Old fashioned radio and lighting control panel in the headboard (not working)? Check... More

I've just read about 10 reviews of this hotel and feel rather saddened that some people seemed to have a bad experience. I went a month ago with my fiancee and parents and had a really lovely time. It is true that the decor is very 1960's and the place is huge so often felt very empty. However, I didn't... More

They call it 5 star while it shouldn't operate at all! It's a crap? Old, non renovated 30something years now, definitely over-over priced. Tired staff. Broken pool in the middle of the summer, old fashioned restaurant and if you have the bad luck to need to go to WC, it's broken too!! You have to go either to main building... More

We spent one night at Nafplia palace and we really enjoyed our stay. We got upgraded to a luxury room with an outdoor jacuzzi!! The room was amazing, the view was stunning, the bath and steam room/shower was incredible. From the moment we got there the staff was really friendly and helpful!! We had dinner at their restaurant which once... More

I have seen several mitigated comments on Tripadvisor previously, esp about price and cleanliness/outfashioned rooms but we still decided to go. First of all, Nafplia Palace benefits from a unique position, within the walls of the historic fortress of Nafplia, with breathtaking views on the Bay and on the Bourtzi island fortress (Nafplia's symbol). But it is also 5mn walking... More

This is a great hotel. Room lived up to description, bathroom was brilliant, luxurious, and a real treat. Staff excellent, so helpful and professional. The decor of the hotel is really individual, with lots of space. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection, we breakfasted outside, and just relaxed. Easy to get to the main town, then escape back... More

I was highly disappointed by this hotel as Nafplio is such a special part of Greece, the port city has an amazing energy to it. Firstly the main hotel pool was closed (in July)?? guests had to use the small infinity pool which was so dirty you could not see the bottom. The rooms were spacious but bring your own... More

The hotel is on the best part of the town with an amazing view, staff was very kind and the hotel was generally very clean. These are the only good things i can share. We booked for a bangalow with private pool. Initial price at 815 euro per night which finally went down to 690 euro. With this price bungalow... More

We booked two nights for 150 Euro each, thinking that we would stay at the best hotel at Nafplio for a luxurious weekend...When I entered the lobby, I was transferred to the 60's, but was still calm, despite the smell. When I went to the room, I was angry! Not luxury, but not even the basic descent elements you ask from a hotel. There... More
