We spent 2 nights in Nafplio at the Byron Hotel during Easter 2014 , we planned our trip at the last moment and this was the only place where we found a triple room available after having called directly at least 20-30 hotels . Our stay in the Byron hotel was very relaxing, thanks to the nice family who owns... More

We stayed here again this year - for the fifth time. Would not consider staying anywhere else in Nafplio. It's in a great position, very easy to find and just a short walk from the bus station. Great view from the upper floors. Comfortable, clean, welcoming, friendly and a delicious breakfast. Lovely hotel.

Byron is in the Old Town of Nafplio, very close to main streets and square, and not far from sea front. It's quite a small place, family run I think, and the people who run it were very helpful with information about where to eat locally, and about bus travel onwards, and local information. The room was simply furnished, very... More

Nice hotel. Nothing fancy but it has an Old Venetian charm. Finding the place is a nightmare however since the correct location is not marked in Google maps, it's in the pedestrian-only Old Town and nobody speaks English properly in the area. There's illegal parking all around Old Town but the nearest legal parking lot is in front of the... More

- good location in old town - friendly staff - quant and antique decor - bed and accommodation are pretty basic but suitable for a short cheap stay. - great homemade fresh breakfast with yummy croissants, bread, fruits, yogurt and granola, fresh pressed OJ, coffee of your choice, etc. -walkable from everything -there are a flight or two of stairs... A quiet, comfortable small hotel in a charming town. Not luxurious, but tons of ambiance, good service, cleanliness, and the best breakfasts! Don't think I will ever again be able to buy yogurt here at home. And how often do you get fresh-squeezed orange juice when traveling? Great view of the water and much of the old town from both... We stayed in Nafplio for few days and Hotel Byron was one of the best decisions during this holiday:) It's located very close to the old town and port, and to the beach - maybe 15 minutes. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cute, romantic style. You will also love the breakfast, especially fresh squeezed orange juice.

I recently stayed at this hotel with three friends (two rooms) during a three-day stay in the lovely city of Nafplio. It was recommended by the sister and brother-in-law of one of my friends. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old city, and just a short walk from the "town beach," a nice pebble beach just... More

Very nice surprise to find such a charming hotel in this very romantic city. The hotel was booked by friends who live around the area during the summer months. I love everything about this little place. Location, service, breakfast, and service. The only problem for people with physical issues is that you need to climb few stairs to get to... More

We stay at this hotel three to four times every year. (If I remember correct we stay here from the opening in 1996/7) First of all it is situated in the centre of the old town, and for us this is the best location to stay in Nafpio. Rooms are very nice, some are bigger than the others, it depends... More
