I stayed in this lovely hotel in the heart of Nafplio with my son, and a good friend. We had both the Aphrodite and Poseidon rooms, and I have to say, they were both lovely. The rooms were large, the AC worked really well, there were large, lovely windows you could open to look out on the street, and the... More

This was a very charming hotel. The amenities included spacious rooms, breakfast (where one could squeeze ones' own fresh orange juice!), refrigerator, and a fabulous bathroom. My only concern is that the shower was pretty tight - anyone over 170 pounds would have difficulty bathing. Also there was not an elevator. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it... More

What a charming hotel this is! Clean, comfortable, quiet. Everything a traveler is looking for. Each room is very unique, but everyone in our group was happy with their room - except the singles. Single rooms at the Dias Hotel are extremely small. I recommend you book a double. Some of the rooms had bathtubs with a handheld shower, others... More

I stayed here with a childhood friend in early August. We had booked the room "Aphrodite" in the attic. The room was very beautiful, but if you book it over the summer, let the reception know when you arrive, so that they can turn the air condition on. The room has a lovely balcony with an amazing view of Palamidi.... More

Dias Hotel is a charming hotel in a great location in the Old City of Nafplio (close to the Palamidi Fortress, Arvanitia Beach and the bus station). It combines history (it was the former home of a hero of the Greek Revolution) with comfort. The owner of the hotel was very kind and friendly, and I really felt like a... More

We booked based on other reviews and it didn't disappoint. Clean and well furnished. From the other pictures I was worried about it being musty and old, but it wasn't at all. Our room had lots of windows that opened. A/C worked wonderfully. Our room had a TV and mini fridge. Free breakfast was sufficient but nothing too special. The... More

This is at best a 2-star hotel, definitely not four stars as advertised! The hotel is friendly, but certainly NOT LUXURIOUS. Service was spotty - twice they forgot to clean the room; and once the cleaner apparently left the door ajar, which we were shocked to discover when we returned in the evening. We stayed five nights - the last... More

I'm not sure what the other reviewers are used to, but this is an average hotel, and the rooms have nice furnishings, but are definitely not luxurious. The staff was friendly, however the breakfast was marginal and we got the run-around when we tried to use our credit card to pay (yes, i know it IS Greece)

We stayed at Dias Hotel three nights in November 2011. I have only good memories from this experience. For what we paid (60e/night) this hotel was perfect. Room was huge (we stayed at Ermis) very well decorated, clean, very comfortable bed and a tiny balcony which i didn't use due to the weather. Room was warm, not any a/c issue.... More

We were here 4 nights in the Athina Room. Beautiful mini-suite, very luxurious feeling! We had windows on two sides & very comfortable bed! Breakfast was included & it was WONDERFUL! Really good yogurt, & fresh, homemade pastries, along with eggs, ham, cheese, bread, & more. The hotel is right across from the entrance to the walk up to Palmidi... More
