We stayed two nights at Agamemnon at the beginning of our holiday. We chose it for its location on the waterfront and the views over Bourtzi Fortress in the harbour and booked a sea facing room. The views were as advertised. We just sat on the balcony and took it all in. We could actually see Katrina Castle across the... More

We only stayed a night and thank goodness. The hotel is clean but very tired and the rooms are small. The beds were not very comfortable. The staff were helpful. Car parking is tough, there aren't many spots around. The location is great, plenty of cafés and restaurants around.

You can't beat looking out your balcony at the beautiful water and the Bourtzi fort which sits in the water before the horizon. This hotel has the feel of a nice dorm. The rooms are very basic and the service is good. It serves it's purpose. Nothing really bad to say about the accommodations except that the shower head blew... More

Stayed on the top floor, room 203, fabulous view of the boardwalk & pier. Close to shops, restaurants & the Pallamidi Castle. Beaches were about a 10 min drive away (Karathona & Tolo were our favorite). Hotel was clean, buffet breakfast had great selection & fresh, elevator was convenient. Reception & departure went smoothly. If we return, we will definitely... More

Our family of 7 adults and a baby spent five nights here in three rooms. We all had sea facing rooms, and the view was incomparable. The rooms were basic comfortable hotel rooms with excellent air conditioning and unlimited hot water (both of which can be hard to come by in Greece), and daily maid service. All of the staff... We flew into Greece in mid-June and rented a car from there to Nafplion. We arranged for our stay at Hotel Agamemnon online. The only thing I have to comment on that is not positive is the parking. The hotel doesn't have its own parking, but they direct you to places you can park, and we didn't have trouble finding... More

We boocked though INTERNET ( double bed & one single bed ) , arrived at the Hotel at lunch time , left our luggage at the reception and went for lunch due that it wasn't yet time to get into the rooms . We find a nice taverna where they had very tasty meals , on the way to the... More

Good, clean, comfortable hotel, serving a very good & varied breakfast. Good location next the harbour & very close to the old town with its many bars & a great variety of restaurants. The room was basic but the bathroom looked brand new. I believe they maybe renovating some of the rooms.

We made an error by not asking for a sea view. The first night that was all that was available. The room overlooked a side alley with only a juliet balcony. The shower stall was so small, you couldn't bend down if you dropped something. It was modern, and cleverly used the space in the toilet, but small is small.... More

A modernist purpose-built corner property on the end of the main seafront promenade thus maximising balcony rooms with views. Free easy-to-find (in May!) street parking nearby. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and all tourist amenities. Very reasonably priced which reflects the condition of the place. Sadly dated furnishings, rusty broken windows, smelly drains and large unused bleak communal spaces.... More
