Very nice hotel, recently renovated with large rooms and homemade breakfast. Everything was clean and the stuff is very friendly. The hotel is close to Methoni's castle and also the beach. Our room had a beautiful small balcony with nice view. I would definitely stay there again.

If you're planning to stay in Methoni, I strongly recommend this hotel. Conveniently located in the very centre of the town, impeccably clean, with spacious rooms and a very friendly owner, comes together with very good value for money package.

Lovely centrally located hotel which is just a short stroll to the castle & the beach. Despite arriving almost 3 hours before the official check in time we were made very welcome. Excellent & huge breakfast which included slices of cake made by our host. Good clean room, but only one small complaint, the shower head could do with replacing.... More

We (my wife, adult son, myself) found this to be a pleasant place to stay; great breakfasts with an in-house specialty of ouzo cake. Our hostess was lovely to talk with and gave us a flavor of the countryside. Needing some pharmaceutical remedy, she called the local chemist and got his best advice which we followed.

Although my husband and I had only booked four nights during July and intended to move on we liked Methoni so much we decided to stay a few more days. The owner of the hotel could have not been more helpful or friendly and every morning something extra appeared for breakfast. Yes, the rooms are a little dated but could... More

Me and my husband stayed at Achilles Hotel in the lovely village of Methoni for 5 days in July. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was quite spacious with a large wardrobe but the bathroom rather small. The WiFi was working well. Every morning we was served at great breakfast. The hardworking landlady was always helpful and in a... More

The Achilles hotel is a beautiful, almost colonial building in the center of Methoni, at 300m. from the beach and the old fort. Unfortunatly it needs a makeover: everything is a bit worn-out: furniture, badroom sanitary, leaking tap, poorly fitting doors, inadequate lighting (bathroom). Breakfast however was good (with pressed orange juice) and was served at the terrace. For the... More

A lovely hotel with an traditional feel. The owner was on her own when we stayed there and was working really hard, however she was delightful in every way. The room was a little old fashioned, and the bed a bit hard - again traditional greek! The breakfast though was really good served out on the front terrace in the... More

Having a road trip from our stay in Mani, Methoni was a pleasant surprise! We are surprised that norwegian travel agencies do not know this lovely town and area. Now reccomended by us ! Although we hadn`t made any reservations, the manager warmly welcomed us. The room was not big, but clean, the beds good, airconditioner included! Couldn`t be better.... More

This is a very charming hotel in a lovely town. Our room was very clean and comfortable with 2 balconies. Wonderful breakfast everyday with fresh eggs from the owners chickens and olives from the owners trees. The best thing about the Achilles were the owners themselves. Always friendly and very helpful. The go out of there way to make your... More
