This is a great place to stay. It's up on the hill, but just a short walk to town, and the staff are lovely. We had a very big room with a great view, and the breakfast was very good. They also had hiking maps available to borrow, which was very helpful

We had a lovely room, with a balcony, a very comfortable bed and cooking facilities. The view of Kardamili and its bay is beautiful. The warmth of the welcome and the service were both outstanding, and Voula's enthusiasm for her hotel and her town are infectious. Breakfast consisted of omelette, tomato, cucumber, cheese, ham, salami, melon, grapes, yoghurt with cherry... More

The Vadia Hotel was a real find. We stayed 10 nights, and were sorry to leave. The hotel is set on the hillside above Kardamyli, a 10-15 minute walk into the village (depending on the route you take and how tired your legs are after a day's hiking!). Our room was very clean and well-equipped, with a small kichenette including... More

This was a beautiful hotel perfectly set in the mountainside close to the village. You can easily walk to the town and beach or go hiking. They were so welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was served in the room which we are on the balcony and was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed all week. This was the perfect accommodation. I... More

The vardia hotel is the best spot we've been at. First of all, kardamyli is absolutly lovely great beaches and hikes around. The vardia hotel is high up so you get a wonderful view from your balcony. It's only 10 minutes walk from town and 15 from the beach. The rooms are spacious and tasteful. Ours had a small kitchen... More

OK, the rooms may not be 5-star, but they're comfortably appointed, with a kitchenette and a dining room table. What makes this place so great, though, is that the hotel is perched on the hillside above Kardamili with 180 degree views. Each room has a balcony overlooking the town below and the sea beyond. The terrace was beautifully landscaped, with... More

Nice big spacious rooms with excellent view. 500 meters away from the town located on the top of the hill above Kardamili . The hotel staff and the management very friendly and polite. Excellent variety of breakfast with good quality of food and drinks. Very nice place to spent some time.

We're a family of three (teenage child) who stayed three nights at the Vardia Hotel. The hotel is exceptional -- a beautiful building, lovely, clean suite with outstanding view of the bay and town below, short walk into town. The owner/manager speaks fluent English, is very charming and knows a lot about the area -- wonderful hikes, beaches, restaurants, etc.... More

My husband & I stayed at Vardia Hotel for 3 nights and had wonderful views from our room overlooking the pretty town of Kardimili. The walk down to the town's greek restaurant "Harilaos" was approximately 10 minutes, and if one wishes to walk further to the middle of the town, it takes another 5 to 10 minutes. The owners were...
