We spent 3 days here in April when touring the Peloponnese. We were travelling with another couple and apart from the four of us there was only one other room occupied. They were not busy, but we had a very luke-warm welcome from Maria when we arrived, and we were put out to discover that there was no hot water... More

We stayed three nights here in May. We found the room large and comfortable (beds are a bit hard, but that's common) and well equipped with a two burner electric stove, commodious refrigerator, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, and enough cookware to eke out a meal. The included breakfast didn't vary, but it was delicious and delivered to our... More

This isn't so much a hotel as a collection of apartments, but whatever the format, the location is enviable, perched on a slope a couple of kilometres outside Kardamili, looking down the beautiful coastline. The welcome is friendly after buzzing through an intercom (the reception a little way in isn't always manned), and each apartment is of a good size,... More

We were lucky enough to get a top floor apartment which had a huge balcony overlooking the sea. Large bedroom with a small kitchenette and fridge which was handy for preparing snacks/cooling wine. The hotel is located up on the hillside quite far from the beach and about 1.5km outside Kardamilii itself. There are however, 2 eating places within a... More

Spacy rooms with private balconies minimally decorated.Nice view with trees and plants all over. All build in harmony with the local architecture. Full equipped kitchen, simple meals can easily be prepared.Peaceful, a bit outside of Kardamili (2-3 minutes drive from downtown), but the beach is within walking distance (although being pregnant I took a 10 minute path to this beautiful beach... -a collection of detached studios built like a small Mani village, either ground or top floor. we had a top floor apartment at the top of the small complex with views across the Kardamilli area for 12 nights. its very peaceful. seems more designed for couples/adults than families. - the rooms are simply but stylishly decorated but a big step... Notos hotel is like a small vilage on a hill. There are about 15 small stone cottages with a beautiful view to Kardamili village and beach "ritsa".We had a cottage with a seperate bedroom except the living room-kitchen which was not very big.The bathroom was big but a little bit old and the shower small with a plastic curtain that I... Notos Hotel is more than just a hotel. Beautiful stone cottages set in beautiful surroundings just 10 minutes walk from an unspoilt and quiet beach. Great value for money. Each cottage is tastefully designed with rustic furniture and all the amenities you need to have a perfect stay. Maria is a lovely host, respectful of guest's privacy but always available... More

It's funny that at the time, the 2 out of the 15 reviews of this property that rate it as "average" come from Greek people.. I'll add to that.. This hotel offers several private studios, I have no idea how many, must be between 8-14. Our studio was spacious, with two single beds next to each other. The bathroom was... More

Very quiet, relaxing, private studios on the hillside overlooking the town and the sea. The room was nicely furnished with lots of shuttered windows and doors onto the private terraces - ours was large and shaded by a bamboo roof and grape vines. Kitchen area was suitable for making breakfast and lunch. Excellent wifi is available in the studios. The... More
