The Buchenhof is on lovely, quiet, wooded grounds a short walk from Worpswede. The buildings, constructed around 1900, are decorated in a style true to the period with antiques or fine reproductions of the art nouveau and art and crafts style. Just spent 5 very pleasant nights at this hotel. Staff was kind and smiling. Excellent breakfast – really good! Paid €75 bed-and-breakfast (room slept two, I was solo), and on checkout half expected to be told that it was in fact €175, so great was the value on offer.
