Words, in any language, cannot adequately describe this wonderful -- bordering on Fairy Tale -- place. A video is easy to find when looking for its website, and everything that you will see is real and available during your stay. The hostess/owner/creator, Fabienne Huppert, is a quintessential French lady. She greets the guests and then unobtrusively supervises every good thing... More

We had booked the whole venue for the three nights of our daughters wedding, for ourselves, and the whole wedding party- with other guests coming for the wedding on the Saturday from outside. The venue is exquisite - the building, rooms, decor, ambience, grade, pool, kitchen garden, restaurant. Every aspect of our accommodation and stay was perfect - relaxed luxury.... More

We have just returned from spending a long weekend at Le Mas de la Rose. In the interests of transparency, we booked the whole venue for the weekend for our wedding, so my comments should be seen in that light. However, I’ve tried to keep my comments as objective as possible. The venue and its setting in the shadow of... More

Where do I begin?? How about I start with our late arrival time, only to be greeted by Fabienne…who then headed into the kitchen to personally slice up fabulous French cheese and bread because we were starving and the restaurant was already closed. Needless to say, we sat on our patio and downed a bottle of red wine and her... More

Charming small boutique country house in the heart of Provence..Our room was very well appointed with everything you could ask for. The garden and pool were great for quiet relaxation after a day out exploring the small towns in the area. The owners were warm and welcoming and the food was of the highest quality with excellent service. All in... More

Our son got married at this venue and I doubt if there is a more splendid location in the whole of Provence. First the downside: it is expensive even by somewhat outrageous prices throughout the area. Secondly there seems to be some erratic timings for availability of meals. On one day they weren't even serving breakfast so if you are... More

My wife and I were in a room in the annexe and found it to be very comfortable, it was spacious with plenty drawer and wardrobe space. The accommodation is dated but still very comfortable with all the facilities needed. There was a kitchen on the ground floor fully kitted out including fridge and microwave. We used only the fridge,... More

A most beautiful setting, perfect welcome and the best of standards and excellence at every level. It is a dream to find such a lovely hotel, and the bonus is that the restaurant is also of the highest standard of cuisine and service. This personal hotel is beautifully run, and for us it was the ultimate relaxation.

Le Mas De La Rose is everything one would think of as a Perfect Place to stay in the French Countryside of Provence. Its stunning and is surrounded by lavender fields, vineyards, a fresh herb garden, and a beautiful infinity pool that blends in with the landscape. Fabienne, the owner, greeted all 20 of us upon arrival. She is amazing... More

In five years, I have only ever posted two reviews on Trip Advisor (one because it was awful and one brilliant beyond expectation). Le Mas De La Rose falls into the latter category. It is a beautiful setting, perched in the Alpilles, with beautiful grounds. Our room was delightful and the staff were wonderfully friendly andcouldn't do enough for you.... More
