After a week in Paris we drive to Honfleur (2+ hrs.) and back to Connelles (75 minutes on back roads) to spend the night and have dinner at Hotel Le Moulin de Connelles. We had the best room in the house, overlooking the river, two room suit and balcony. It’s in a very peaceful setting and any tensions from the... more

We wanted some luxury on our trip so found this hotel and got a deal incl breakfast and evening meal. In a beatiful position over the seine it was a pity that it rained most of the time we were there. However, the staff were brilliant and very helpful and forgiving of my poor french. We went for a basic... more

Amongst fields of poppies and the gently flowing river beside it, Moulin de Connelles is a vision worth treasuring. Service and food were excellent, even down to the tiny french biscuits served with tea. If you want to visit Claude Monet's village, it is quite close and easily accessible from this small hotel. I will return to Connelles another holiday... more

We stayed at Le Moulin de Connelles at the start of a touring holiday and our only regret was that we were staying for one night not two! The hotel setting is beautiful and worth a visit in itself. Our room was outstanding; we had booked a suite on the 1st floor with a river view and double Jacuzzi (which... more

An exquisite hotel in a perfect setting. We stayed two nights in two different suites - Room 7 and the big panoramic suite with it's balcony over the river. Fab rooms and the best ever bathrooms. Big separate showers and jacuzzi baths, windows opening onto the spectacular view. The 33 euro three course dinner is included in the price, but... more

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Moulin de Connelles on our way back from a trip to the Loire in May 08. The hotel is 10 minutes from the Autoroute on the South side of Rouen, and as such is perfectly located for stop-overs on the way back north. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on... more

An historic former mill in a beautiful location on the Seine. All the staff were very professional, especially the lady who runs the reception. She couldn't be more polite and helpful, and thoughfully upgraded us to a nicer room on arrival. Our half board rate included dinner in the cosy restaurant with a covered terrace overlooking the river, which was... more

Awsome, simply perfect. What a fantastic place. Close to calais on the hoon back to the boat and too close to monet's gardens that it's rude not to visit! As our last night's stay of our hoeymoon it was perfect. With very friendly, english speaking staff and possibly the best meal out of the 16 we had. To the people... more

We recently held our wedding banquet at the Moulin de Connelles and all of guests were impressed with the restaurant's beautiful environment and the superb service provided by the staff. We had guests from Asia and the US and everyone raved about the food and the wine at our banquet - the cuisine was classical French but inventive and beautifully... more

This place is divine....Karine runs a very well organised hotel with English speaking staff. Her staff member Caroline welcomed us with warmth and was very gracious. The hotel is lovely and the surrounds are very peaceful and relaxing. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was first class - delicious. Breakfast however, was a little basic. Overall this place... more
