This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel & again we were delighted with every aspect of it. It is conveniently situated within the lovely town of Seefeld. The food is exceptional and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our waitress (Beata) in the restaurant was so lovely and always had a smile for us. I... More

Just back from a perfect week in Seefeld staying at the Ferienhotel Kaltschmid. As a single traveller I have been put in some not to pretty rooms in the past so it was with a little trepidation that I opened the door to my room. I was delighted. Plenty of room, a lovely bathroom all spotlessly clean and a Juliet... More

If you go to Seefeld and wander around the town, you eventually gravitate to it's heart. Almost inescapably and inexplicably, there's a hotel which one seems to sense, provides the beating of that heart - Welcome to Seefeld's Kaltschmid hotel! This sprawling, bustling, jolly maze of an hotel has been giving guests, truly warm Tyrolean hospitality for over 40 years!... More

Our third visit and still a great time. Friendly as ever and the food is absolutely wonderful. The only thing that I would change if I could is the smoking in the Tenne bar area.......we would have gone there most evenings but for the smoking. Im sure its only a matter of time until all public areas are non smoking....the... More

I have been here any times now and recently we have been using this lovely big hotel as our Christmas base. I am not going to repeat myself too much but you can see my other reviews if you are pondering a visit. We had an apartment with half board and we had the same rooms as last visit. We... More

Prior to our Christmas break my husband had emailed the hotel and requested that if possible could we have rooms as close as possible to my sister, on arrival at the hotel where the staff were very friendly we not only had rooms next door to each other but we had also been given an upgraded room which were lovely.... We are a couple in our 60's who travel extensively throughout the year. This year, as last,we decided to go away for Christmas, and chose this hotel as we knew the area and hotel. Normally we do not go back on consecutive years to the same place, but we decided to return this year. On arrival at the hotel, reception... More

Although the hotel was very comfortable and clean I felt that it is a little outdated and needs some refurbishment, furniture a little worn but the quilts and pillows are to die for. The food is very pretentious and doesn't suit all tastes, fillet of pork and banana and cocoa sauce - what the hell is that about. We ate... More

First came to this hotel almost 15 years ago, then about 9 years ago. Decided to pay another visit on our driving trip, so booked for 3 nights. While the wheather at 8 degrees was a shock after the 28 we had at Venice, the hotel was still top notch. My single room with balcony was large and with a... More
