We had lovely room on the top floor (with four poster as on website). The views from the balcony were beautiful, and we found the room very spacious. Breakfast was consistently high quality, lovely scrambled eggs and crispy bacon available plus range of bread and cold meats etc. Excellent service during the evening meals, dining room very pleasant. Salad was... More

I believe the hotel had just reopened for the summer when we stayed (end May / early June). I was a bit worried by some of the reports. We were a party of 4 on a Thomson 'Lakes & Mountains' holiday. Our rooms (on top floor) were very very nice. The rooms (2 x doubles) were spacious, comfortable and clean.... More

Then maybe look elsewhere. Room on first floor with a paper thin mattress and unbearably worn and thin single pillow, a bed that squeaks when you so much as look at it and a continual racket from the kitchen below. Three rough nights sleep and sore back in the morning. Staff smiley enough but get the feeling that you wouldn't... More

Myself and three friends took a last minute holiday to the Gasthof Batzenhausl Aug/Sept 2013. The Gasthof Batzenhausl was clean and comfortable and VERY friendly. We had clean towels and bed linen every day. The dining room was cosy and welcoming, the food was exceptionally good with no repeat of menu during our two week stay in fact as good... More

I have stayed at Batzenhäusl twice and it is great value, friendly and well positioned. The food is good (don't compare with a 5* hotel as it is not like for like) and the rooms are basic but sufficient, and have nice balconies. It is a nice traditional Gashof and allows for great exploration of Seefeld and the surrounding hills.

Me and my wife stayed at the Batzenhauesl for a week in late July 2012. It is a three star Gasthof and this review reflects this fact. We paid a total of 613 euros for half board for the two of us for seven days. This equates to £36.00 each per night. This is superb value. Our en-suite room ('Enzian)... More

We had a wonderful week in Seefeld and Baetzenhausl. The staff was very friendly and helpfull in every way. They payed attention to the kids as well. The room was big enough for our family. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were exellent. Tuly a great value for money! On Thursday,... More

This is a guesthouse and cannot be compared fairly with 4* hotels. It gave us good value for money on our Thomson trip. The room we had was Austrian "rustic" with our room being one with a four-poster bed. The room was large with a good balcony (with deck chairs) overlooking a large hill with a chair lift. The bathroom... More

Located at end of main street close to Seefeld tourist office , rail and bus station, bars etc. Couldn't be better located. Bedroom was big enough but pillows lacking any support. Beds okay - two singles pushed together. Bathroom was one of those moulded plastic affairs and was very very small but at the price we paid quite adequate for... More

A little about the resort - I've been to Seefeld many times, I learnt to ski here and now I come as my second, more relaxing, ski holiday every year. If you do a package you'll probably fly to Innsbruck which is a 25 min transfer. We came independently and weren't staying a whole week so travelled into Munich as... More
