Charming Hotel in an interesting town. We got scammed at the temple which put a dampener on our stay. The heritage building is quaint and our big room lovely. We ate our dinner at the hotel, I had the best samosas and cup of tea. Yes it's a dry town but don't be put off. The biggest problem we had... More

This lovely old hotel is right on the edge of the lake with beautiful views from the verandah running the length of the hotel outside the rooms. Very clean and well furnished, it was one of the better equipped hotels we stayed at in Rajasthan. They provided tea/coffee making facilities, a safe, fridge, heater, air con, hair-dryer, mosquito repellent, fly... More

I'm pretty sure everyone who stays at this hotel does it because of the view, I know I did... The place is nice and actually it was one of the cleanest hotels I stayed in India, the room is ok and the bed was great: big and very comfortable (maybe because the last three days I got to sleep in... Set along the lakeside ghats, this hotel reflects former glories in a quietly aging way. Our room was on the fourth floor, accessed along an open gallery which offered views across the lake towards the town. One can sit on the gallery and admire the sunset reflected in the lake. The room itself was spacious, with a separate dressing room... More

I loved this place! It is right on the lake. I enjoyed taking my shoes off and walking around the lake right from this hotel. In addition, it is not a sterile chain hotel but one with a lot of personality and quirkiness. It used to be an old palace and the age and unique decor comes through. With that... More

The location of this place is nice, near the lake. But then you hear the music and prayers for hours. The room is sufficient but needs hard work of cleaning and i recommend skipping the food there. you can find better food outside of the hotel. the electricity wiring looks like early 20 century stuff and there are quite a... Sorry Pushkar Palace....but I feel it's only fair to warn other travellers Faint glimmer of former grandeur.....now struggles to maintain even basic amenities. It's known as " the best hotel in Pushkar "....as proclaimed by folk one might chat to along the market......Hopefully some enterprising entrepreneur will recognize the need for a functional guest house/hotel that might be popular for... The problem is with the little things - breakfast is poor , the maps on the table on the breakfast was dirty...few improvements needed to make this place... More

Pushkar Palace was very cold in the early morning and in the evening when we stayed there in December, and the ancient fan heater in our large room didn't work. Someone brought us a replacement, so we managed eventually to warm the room a little. The lights came on erratically - sometimes when you pressed the switch and sometimes when... More

Well situated at the edge of the famous and holy ghats. We could see life around the ghats from our room and corridor and the lake was a few steps away. Cafes and many shops nearby. Location is excellent. This was one of the Maharaja's homes -- his family still own and operate the hotel. Rooms are OK -- pretty... More
