Well situated at the edge of the famous and holy ghats. We could see life around the ghats from our room and corridor and the lake was a few steps away. Cafes and many shops nearby. Location is excellent. This was one of the Maharaja's homes -- his family still own and operate the hotel. Rooms are OK -- pretty... More

Once you accept that Pushkar is small, dirty, vegetarian and "dry", and that the holy lake is filthy, Pushkar is a delightful experience and this hotel must be one of the best locations to experience it. It is an old "holiday home on the holy lake" for some maharaj or other. The facilities are not modern but all worked satisfactorily.... More

You need a room on floor 3/4 or you won't see the sunset. The view is fantastic but other than that the hotel needs lots of improvements made. The food was distinctly average, the rooms are old fashioned and there isn't much else to praise. Distinctly average.

This is a very charming, if frumpy, hotel. It has a colonial era motif and the location is about as good as it gets overlooking the lake. There are many cheaper, quality options in Pushkar, but this would be the ideal spot to treat yourself at the end of a stay. Like most things in India, the rates are negotiable,... More

The heritage property is awesome and the only one on the lake. Upper floor rooms have a great view of the lake , city and mountains. Location is superb adjoining the lake/ ghat and also the sun set point. Very close to the market and cafes. The staff takes good care. Cannot think of staying anywhere else in Pushkar.

The hotel could do with an update in every sense, its not a 3 or 4 star! Do check prices beforehand as things are pricy. Its close to nearby markets and temples....And walking around to most areas. The views are incredible and ppl watching at the lake is great too.

Of course for the price you should not expect that much. But what you might hope for was not there : a room with a view. All rooms Are at a gangway gallery so to avoid peepers you keep the curtains closed. The new invention of saving lamps or led does not help to create a fairytale atmosphere. It was... More

We stayed for 4 nights in a twin room during the Camel Fair this year. Our stay in Pushkar was amazing, and the hotel a real retreat from the bustle of the town. A heritage hotel, our room was HUGE, well furnished, had its own dressing room/bathroom, TV, fridge etc. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dinner was included in... More

Awesome stay, good enough of what you can expect in Pushkar. Very polite staff, always greet when they see you, housekeeping staff also keen to help. We got Room 403 on top floor, very good views of lake and they have chairs in balcony where you can sit and enjoy the scenery and morning and evening prayers at the Ghat.... More

Arriving to the hotel we were allocated a small room with no view to the lake. The hotel is very old and the facilities are accordingly. We insisted to receive a room with a view and it seems there are some at the end of the corridor, but they are really small. At the end we found there are two... More
