I first met Raj upon arrival to town, I told him I already had a reservation, but he ahowed me his place and gave me a ride to where I was staying for free. After a few days I ended up moving to his place, the rooms were 300-400 or 500 rupees, with the top having a terrace with a... More

We visited on a whim and my brother in law ensured that we had a room, thanks to his connect with the property owners. The place is great and teeming with Europeans, centrally located and the cuisine is good. It's a 10 minute walk to the bazaar, the rooms are bright and airy and has free wifi, hot water and... More

Located in a great spot handy for the holy lake and main bazaar, this guest house was great value. Strong wifi connection, brilliant 24/7 hot water and a nice area for relaxing in with other travelers. Rooms are cheap and all round excellent value - a strong recommend for other people on a budget!

I like this hostel a lot, I stayed there two times this year. The location is great, 2 minutes from the bus stand, and really close to town but in a more quiet place. It has a swimming pool, and is very clean, with free wifi. Perfect place to stay.

The staff is just thinking about making money and after you've paid they just ignore you and won't help you anymore. Besides, the rooms and the pool were really dirty. I would recommend not to go to this guesthouse. A shame!

It's well located just a minutes walk from the market area which means it's nice and quiet. The pool could definitely be cleaner but it didn't deter me and a bunch of other people staying there taking a dip everyday. As a solo traveller it was a good place to meet others as there was good communal areas. I didn't... More

Me and my wife were pleased with the room. It was clean and cosy. We loved having sun in our room in cold December days. Hot water was always available, good feeling to shower with wood heated water. We were though not satisfied with the internet signal. We were told that there is signal in the room, which end up... More

I am reading with some degree of amazement the positive reviews of this hotel. Yes, it was cheap, but the paint was peeling off the walls, it was noisy, and it was VERY dirty. This place is best avoided.

There is a nice garden for relaxing and meeting other travellers. Our room was clean and good value (300 for a double). Mostly very helpful and friendly staff. It was pretty quiet at night, down a small street away from the bazaar. Good location.
