Although only about 15 years old the place looks and feels like a real maharaja's palace. Out room was huge and spotlessly clean with four poster bed. The electrical system was 'heritage' but there was wi-fi in the room. However in mid-December we were the only guests in the hotel though were not overwhelmed by the warmth of welcome! Dinner... Jagat Palace was a great find .... probably the only hotel in the world where it looked better in real life than on the website. The place is well decorated, grounds are lush with greenery, and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, with safes, fridges, and adequate room to stretch out. We ate all meals at the... We spent three nights here during the camel fair and it was great to be able to return to this lovely stately hotel with its quiet pool and gardens after the fabulous but overwhelming chaos of the fair. The rooms are spacious and there are many quiet places opulently decorated in Rajasthani splendour to sit and read or chat. The... More

We only spent one night here but our room was very comfortable and quiet, with a/c and a fridge. The fridge did not work but the service oriented staff easily swapped it for one that did. Internet service worked well. The buildings are very grand, befitting the name; the grounds are lush and the pool large with lots of lounge... More

This hotel looks like palace from the yesteryears but is actually an 15-16 old structure but you wouldnt believe it when you visit. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city and is very secluded and almost remote. The access road is very small and filled with potholes. (Not the hotel's fault ofcourse!) The rooms are smallish for... More

The property looks like an old palace but is actually a 15 yr old property built with all fittings fm forts around the state. Overall ambience in the rooms & the property is very good. Food served in the restaurant is good but the quantity of food served can be better. Staff in the restaurant is courteous but the other... More

Great place, hidden away from the grind and hides a cute little garden with two resident Lab and dalmatian mix breed who majestically roam the vicinity guarding and loving every one. Once you locate teh board on the road and take a turn on the narrow lane you realy do not expect to enter this nice surprise but lo and... More

This was a pleasant surprise. We had stayed in some fantastic hotels in India but this was very different. It had a wonderful historical feel to it, from the furniture and decor, to the service. The staff were extremely attentive, even setting up a table and serving our evening meal out by the pool for us because we were enjoying... More

This is a lovely hotel in terms of: Great swimming pool area Beautiful and large rooms Nice grounds Quiet peaceful and only a short walk in to town Rooms cleaned daily But The staff are quite cold and don't make you feel welcome at all - though this is more a management problem as waiters were cordial. Overall, we loved... More
