We reached the resort in afternoon. by the time we freshened up the ordered lunch was ready. It has a laid back ambiance with a valley seen from the garden and the decks. the service and food was prompt and delicious. the night at the deck was an experience to remember. Morning walk on the lawn with sunrise was memorable.... More

Mandu is not a typical touristy place and hence the choices of accommodation remains fairy small. Hotel Rupmati comes in with its own set of pleasures and pains. On the plus side, the hotel is on the main road and is barely a km or two away from the beautiful Jami Masjid and Jahaz Mahal respectively. Location wise I would... More

We stayed at Hotel Rupmati in March, towards the tail-end of the tourist season at Mandu. The hotel is nice, very kind staff and good spacious rooms. But the best part about the hotel is the view that it offers. If you take the cottages, then you are staying right at the point where the valley starts. A place to... More

Mandu is a stunning destination with incredible historic monuments that are not overrun with tourists. Much of the time you have the place to yourself. Just rent a bike up the road from the Rupmati and take your time riding from one palace / mosque / mausoleum to the next. It was paradise. The hotel is on the edge of... More

It's my second visit of Mandu, and I chose to stay in this hotel. The location is fantastic - really calm and green, with the great view. It's a bit out of the village centre, but we had nothing against it. The staff is really helpful and the food is fantastic (we loved cauliflower tikka!!!). Rooms were big enough, clean... More

It is sad to see a property in an excellent location, with a panoramic view,in a state of disrepair . The rooms are dingy, had lizards running around, the sheets were filthy, the exhaust not working, the wash basin almost fell off and landed on my foot,no clean towels......the list is endless. Spent just one night and regret every minute of it. You guys needs... More

Make sure you book the hotel beforehand or else you will not get rooms if you land directly, beautiful place and close to all Mandu attractions. Delicious Food & Good Service. Will visit again in future. Early morning walk is recommended as the place is extremely beautiful !

How to get there. Its on the Mandav - Dhar Road. TripAdvisor has it wrongly marked on the road leading to the Jahaz Mahal. If you are coming by road from Nashik (ie South) do not obey the GPS. Avoid first turnoff from Dhamnod. Turn left on the road adjoining Hotel Palash. It is about 9km after the toll plaza... More

The hotel has changes a lot since my last visit. The rooms are very poorly maintained. We booked three rooms and in one of them there was no light, the geyser was not working. They handed over one towel for two persons, same with the soaps. The sink was stained and after we reached, we had to supervise the cleaning... More

Location is good overlooking a deep gorge with a very big lawn. excellent location big rooms but need maintenance. AC rooms also available but no power backup. Food in their restaurant is average. Its a good but old property which urgently needs a upgradation of rooms
