A budget Guesthouse with small rooms. It seems that toilets, tiles and shower were not properly cleaned for years (and are badly maintained). Family is nice, but soon you'll discover that they're mostly after your money, and that being honest is not always their moto. The only reason to come here is the view from the shared balcony - yet... More

I couldn't cross the river to go to the other side of humpy as the water was running high and it was raining heavily. So, I wanted a place facing the river. Kiran's is the best I could find with the river side view. I got a room in the first floor, the room is average. Double bed, one plug... More

As a solo 20-something female traveller I felt super safe and comfortable here. I was at Kiran's in April, so it was very hot in Hampi, but I got one of the ground floor rooms and it was super cool because heat rises, it got no direct sun, and of the tiled floor. The room was very affordable, rps 250... More

Well the hotel is average . dont expect anything like- room service / drinking water / etc . Consider it as an accomodation with requirements u need to sleep and stay in Rs 450/- a room . The rooms in first floor are an obvious choice as u get to see a nice view . Their are 2 beds with... More

hampi is amazing. spellbinding. just too much to explore and too beautiful to think of other things. so where you stay wont matter much in hampi as you will only come back to sleep after having walked/bicycled for kilometeres with aching feet and you will fall asleep like a log!! but this place is ok. its rooms are really small... Rooms are small and really quite dirty as was bathroom but I hear this is the case is most of Hampi but for 300 and night who cares? Location is good for ruins and is right next to a good roof top restaurant where you can spend a lot of time chilling. Keiran is lovely and will help you sort... More

I enjoyed my stay at Kiran guest house it is very close to the main bazaar and Temple yet is still quiet at night. The room was large and clean and the shower had hot water. The son will happily sort out buses etc for you although you can maybe get cheaper options if you shop around. The next door... More

Quiet value homestay (250Rp with bath and Fan). Middle of Hampi in quiet lane end. Friendly, helpful family - did laundry wash/dry for 10Rp an item! Rooms had fan and attached western bathroom. Were on 1st floor with small balcony and seats. Stayed 4 nights. Homestay ensured we got to see first hand the local Hampi and Indian culture.. Priceless!... More

We stayed in Hampi during the last week of February 2012. We had hoped to stay at Kiran's but unfortunately all his rooms were booked. He did though find us alternative accommodation at nearby Sunny's guest house. Kiran is an absolutely top bloke and nothing is too much trouble for him. He sorted us out with a rickshaw driver whenever... More
