We stayed in The Kashmir House in mid March 2015, during our three day visit to Dharamshala. This is a small heritage hotel, just a little distance away from the main market. The building is old, but decently maintained. However the maintenance could have been better. It has a nice lawn in the front where one can enjoy tea. The... More

It is a good stay. This is the 2nd time I was visiting there. The hotel is a heritage building and consists a homely atmosphere. The service is good rather small and home like. It is a bit off skirts area but as we have rented a car for 10 days for travel so not faced any trouble for this... More

Hotel is situated near the market place still won’t be disturbed by the noisy market. Market is at a walk-able distance with all kinds of shops. Hotel is situated at the foothill of Meclondgung at a travel distance of half an hour. This being a weekend destination to most of these valley local travellers who often go up for both... More

Its a very good place especially for visitors who prefer to stay in Himachal Tourism hotels. This hotel is bit isolated but if you go by your own car or taxi then its perfect. You can get access to the main market only by car else you will be stuck in this isolated place because the drive is only 5... More

WE did not book in advance any accommodation. Therefore when we arrived into Dharamsala we found another government hotel first, which was booked out. They recommended to try the Kashmir House. It's a bit difficult to find and the road to the hotel is very steep, but we loved the place. The room (No.102) was huge, with lots of windows... More

My family was with me when I reached Dharamsala late one summer evening. All rooms in the town seemed to be booked and we were in a quandary when the person at the front office of Hotel Dhauladhar (also run by HPTDC) helped out with a phone call to this hotel. They had one room vacant. We did not have... More

It's a heritage property converted into hotel and run by HPTDC. We spent Ine night here. The rooms are neat clean. The food served us also good. The hotel has a nice lawn at the front. A quality time can be spend in the lawn. Overall a good budget accomodation.

This hotel is in dharamsala. Always stay in Mcleodganj. Nothing great about this hotel. Food is average. only it is on main road and parking facility is there. Mcleodganj will be your choice to stay not dharamsala.
