We chose this place for our recent weekend getaway and we were not at all disappointed. The place is in Dharamkot, which is about 2 kms uphill from mcleodganj main chowk,. The drive is exciting and the approach road to the hotel is rather steep, our honda city did touch the road once on our way down. To our surprise... More

You can enjoy the peace and good food in the hotel premises as good open spaces with small garden tree with birds sitting and singing along. Room service good with tasty food at affordable prices and healthy cusine made to order. You have a good view also of the mountains and is very peaceful place to just sit in the... More

an okay place to stay at dharamkot (ahead of mcleodgunj) ...getting to the place in the summer season is a pain (in fact going to any 'famous' hill station like mcleodgunj in peak summer is a bad idea as its overcrowded and there are heavy traffic jams) the hotel is decent and the value for money is not bad.... they... We in a group of seven adults stayed in the hotel for three days from 24th-27th May, 2014. First of all it is a quiet place, surrounded by nature, no traffic chaos near the hotel, but the approach road is a bit difficult. The staff is very active and fast to serve all the rooms. Dr. Thakur, the Manager looking... More

The only 2 good things about this property is location and the size.the management has to spend some money on improving the approach road for cars. They badly need a Gardner as the lawns are very badly kept . The staff is good but only 2 people to serve 30 rooms . very poor maintenance . over priced.

It was a good stay in Dev cottage. We went there on 13th June, 2014 and stayed there till 15th June, 2014. Food was also nice there except Chinese. Staff was good and friendly. We reached there before check in time I.e. 12 pm but Mr. Ashok Kumar, who is manager there, accommodated us. Our departure from Mcleodganj was at... More

We visited during May mid and had booked a cottage here. The place is very serene but the roads to reach Dharamkot are awful infact for dharamshala mcleod ganj are awful. If you have a cab which is not fron himachal then the driver would crib a lot. Surprisingly at high cost the hotwl does not have a generator, inverter or even... More

Dev cottages is located 2 kms away from the hustle and noise from McLeodganj. The cottage faces the amazing snow capped mountains which is a treat as all the rooms face it. It is surrounded by the deodar trees which gives it a very cooling effect. The food and service is good here. The rooms are quite huge and can accomodate... More

I visited McLeodganj recently which was on my destination list from quite a long time. The concept was to spend some quality time with my family and I am happy that I chose Dev Cottages for place to stay. It is away from the busy streets of the McLeodganj in the middle of pine trees. The staff was courteous and... More
