Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and were terribly let down by the hotel. It is noway close to a heritage property though looks very good on the website. It is overpriced. The food is terrible with limited menu The walls have fabric cladding and looks horrible and unclean.

This place could better be called a royal guest house rather than a Hotel.Variety of food served is limited but food quality and preparation is very good.Gives you a different feeling from the routine hotels when you stay here. They need to spend some money on bathrooms which need improvement-most important being to install exhaust fans in bathrooms. The entry lane from... After looking for a decent hotel in the area for a long time for my partner and I, we booked the Grace Hotel. We were happy when we saw the place as it is a quaint, historic building with a very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the entire valley. The room... More

The views of Kangra Valley from this hotel are breathtaking although the access could prove difficult for those less mobile. The staff were very welcoming both in reception and the dining room whilst the food was delicious, especially breakfast. The owner shopped each day for fresh food which we benefitted from. My room - which was very clean - was... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night . It has a lot of character which is why I think it costs so much. Other than its cute looks the hotel doesn't offer much more. The food was over priced and not that great. I would not recommended staying here for a long time period.

Looked great on the net ! An overpriced rip off in the name of heritage , influenced more by Rajasthan than Himachal ,The furniture fittings and decor are bargain basement quality albeit they have some of their color theory correct ,in bits looks straight out of a Victorian Interior design manual! Though the finish is pathetic to say the least... More

Grace Cottage was an off beat choice for a hotel in Dharamshala as most travel agents seemed to miss out providing this hotel. However, I am glad we went ahead and stayed here. Grace Cottage is not for someone who is looking for a conventional -high luxury- convenient hotel. It has a soul and character that distinguishes itself from the... More

Though the first look of the hotel in terms of its surroundings was a bit scary and made me uncomfortable, I njoyed my stay once I was in it. The rooms were very spacious and had a very ethnic feel to it and the service was good but in winters there could be an issue with availability of hot water... More

An interesting hotel building with considerable charm and a great view over the city. It is a converted home and has a great deal of character. When we visited during September one of the unfortunate drawbacks was the marked humidity in all the rooms, right down to the sheets and pillows. Dehumidifiers would greatly increase the comfort of the accommodations.... More
