We stayed in this hotel for two nigts...Lovely rooms wit great views reminescent of the british era. The hotel general manager, Inderjit and his staff went out of their to make us feel hospitable..extremely polite and very helpful. Exemplary service! The meals were prepared according to our specifications and it felt like home good food. Initially when we reserved this... More

Firstly I want to say that I love quirky and I love welcome heritage properties but for me this lacked charm. The property itself is pretty but there is no where for guests to sit apart from directly outside of the bedrooms themselves which meant the large Indian guest party that was staying there the same time as we were,... Seeing the welcom heritage tag on this hotel, one had certain expectations as to basic upkeep of the property but we were quite disappointed. Very basic bathroom fittings (unbranded), bald bulbs hanging without even basic lamp holders and torn and dirty curtains do not constitute decor or heritage. Add to that the broken and cracked concrete decorative columns in the... More

This is a picturesque though somewhat faded relic, said to be 200 years old. A heritage property that makes use of facsimile and photocopy relics from the British Raj and Ghandi's Salt March to create ambience and credibility. It's a brave attempt. The room I stayed in could have done with a more thorough carpet clean, though the bathroom was... More

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and were terribly let down by the hotel. It is noway close to a heritage property though looks very good on the website. It is overpriced. The food is terrible with limited menu The walls have fabric cladding and looks horrible and unclean.

This place could better be called a royal guest house rather than a Hotel.Variety of food served is limited but food quality and preparation is very good.Gives you a different feeling from the routine hotels when you stay here. They need to spend some money on bathrooms which need improvement-most important being to install exhaust fans in bathrooms. The entry lane from... After looking for a decent hotel in the area for a long time for my partner and I, we booked the Grace Hotel. We were happy when we saw the place as it is a quaint, historic building with a very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the entire valley. The room... The views of Kangra Valley from this hotel are breathtaking although the access could prove difficult for those less mobile. The staff were very welcoming both in reception and the dining room whilst the food was delicious, especially breakfast. The owner shopped each day for fresh food which we benefitted from. My room - which was very clean - was... More
