It wasn't very easily loated due to lack of hotel signage. However our stay was pleasant as we only stayed for 1 night. I would recommend the hotel if you are completely at leisure and don't wish to step out much a two nights stay with your self is pretty decent. equiped with basic amenities. The staff is very cordial .... More

Awesome experience... there is so much story to each room, the furnishings and the whole grandeur is too overwhelming. the food is the best part.... its made just for you with a lot of variety...almost home made food.the view from my room was spectacular....spent all my evenings watching the sunset andthe view of the the whole valley. the only low... We stayed at The Grace for two nights. On arrival we were given a choice of rooms, all were decorated and furnished to reflect the hotels heritage status so it was a tough choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in their restaurant both nights, each evening we were asked what dishes we would like, we decided on... More

The bathroom had a water geezer in it was very efficiant The staff were very obliging. The internet wasnt any use really. We ate in... More

We spent 2 nights. Very cool looking decor, comfortable and clean. Very nice Indian breakfast. We also ate dinner one night which was quite good. The only problem is really the location. It is 8km away from Mcleodgung where most of the sightseeing and restaurant opportunities. I would recommend it for a couple's getaway. Wifi is free but connection was... More

This was a distinctively styled place with the rooms having Tibetan décor. The views were good and the meals simple homestyle Indian. It had a pretty garden dotted with statues and each room was named individually. Ours was the Prime Minister's Suite. The bathrooms were adequate and we did suffer some blackouts (because of the rain, I assume). The Wi-Fi... More

We stayed for 2 nights from 20 March 2015 in room 14 aka as the Mountbatten Suite on the first floor. The access route to the hotel is interesting down a steep narrow lane from the main shopping area in lower Dharamsala The hotel is former well to do family house that has been turned into a hotel using much... So much history in this Hotel, A family hotel not a business one. The staff very helpful. Bathrooms could be made more efficient. Adding more amnieties would spoil the heritage character. Overall very good experience.

The first impression of this hotel was very favourable as the antique furnishings made for a pleasing ambience and we were welcomed with a hot drink and settled into our room. We subsequently changed our room because of potential noise from other guests though we later discovered that we were the only ones staying there! This change was probably a... More

We arrived on a grey misty and very cold afternoon at the Grace hotel. It's a 200 year old colonial style manor house on the hillside. The car has to be parked a little way below the hotel and there is a short steep walk to the gates, passing the ubiquitous cow on the path. You really need a car... More
