The only risk of going to Chameleon hill is that you might not leave the lodge at all during your stay. Let's face it, many lodges in Uganda and East Africa are nice places to stay and can deliver good to great comfort and food. But until I went to Chameleon hill I didn't know there was one missing ingredient... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Patrick & Charles were superb hosts. Lodge has the most beautiful view & was relatively close to gorilla trekking. The drive to the lodge was a bit unnerving. Take clothes & sweets for the children in the surrounding village as they will appreciate it. We wish we could go back &spend more time there.

We loved our stay at Chameleon Hill. The colorful bungalows are creative and comfy. Food is excellent; service is excellent; views are breathtaking. Make sure your driver has 4WD to navigate the roads ... you'll definitely get your "African massage" en route to this lovely lodge. We highly recommend it! It's a great choice if you're visiting the gorillas in... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Chameleon Hill while gorilla tracking. The facility is outstanding. Patrick and his staff were so friendly and helpful. We felt right at home. The view will take your breath away. Definitely plan on staying at the Chameleon if you are visiting Bwindi to track gorillas.

Our 3 day stay at this Lodge was the best I've ever experienced. I usually don't sleep well in a hotel and Lodges but I slept like a log from the first night in this one. The room and bath were spotless.(I have a thing about that) Steve is the best housekeeper ever. Patrick the Manager was our first contact... More

We noticed this Lodge on our descent of the short cut from Nukuringo and found it intriguing enough to call in. We were made welcome. Patrick was kind enough to show us around and indeed was most insistent on a full tour. His enthusiasm was almost infectious. The overall design, see pictures, is quirky to say the least as somewhat... More
