Mahogany Springs is a very well set out hotel with a a beautiful scenery overlooking River Muyanga, the rooms are spacious and well laid out. The staff are very friendly. The food was freshly cooked and very delicious. Our two nights there which included Gorilla tracking was memorable and will remain so for a long time into the future. For... More

A pretty good lodge...but not high end when compared to Clouds, even though price isn't hugely cheaper. What Mahogany has is proximity to Buhoma. There are gorilla groups on your doorstep. We visited a group over an hours drive away...but then were hugely fortunate that our trek was 15minutes!! Though we did thern follow the group for a brilliant hour... More

I visited Mahogany Springs this month with a couple of friends and wow.. it was a great experience. The cottages are spacious with hot water, the sound of the flowing stream water and the friendly staff; Barrie was always updating us about our trip. Martin was on-time to pick us from the Kihihi airstrip and Manager Jotham waiting for us... More

I might run out of superlatives before I finish this review. My wife and I stayed here for three nights as part of a gorilla trekking/Batwa visiting experience. Every moment of the visit, both on the treks and at the lodge, was right up there with our all-time great life adventures. Each cottage affords utter privacy. Had we done nothing... More

I visited this lodge with my son at the close of 2014. Generally we ushered in 2015 while at mahogany springs. From the sound of the river flowing, the butterflies and all the beautiful landscape, Mahogany springs surely has an awesome location. I commend the service, the cleanliness and some of the staff are really good with children. make sure... More

It’s a perfect place to stay for gorilla tracking in Buhoma area, north of Bwindi impenetrable National Park. The facilities are good, beautiful and spacious cottages and the view is breathtaking. The food and the staff are also superb. I so much enjoyed staying at Mahogany Springs lodge.

We stayed two nights for visiting the gorillas, but we would have loved to stay longer, just bacause its such a peacefull quit lodge with lots of privacy and a beautifull view. Sitting either on your private balcony or on the balcony of the restaurant the view on the green forest and in specific the mahogany tree are a delight.... More

Stayed here in April 2015 for a couple of nights. The accommodation and facilities are fantastic. The rooms are individual brick and thatch buildings that stand alone. The views are sensational and nearby there are plenty of small craft shops selling at very reasonable prices. The best thing about the place is the staff who cannot do enough for you. Mahogany... More

Recently spent four nights here with my partner, trekking for gorillas. This lodge is 10 minutes from the Park Entrance. We went in March, which is low season, and so the lodge was not that busy, although still several customers from different countries. However, the staff were friendly, hospitable and went out of there way to assist their customers. I... More
