One of the better lodges we have stayed in during our recent visit to Uganda. The lodge is well managed by Bosco, clean and has very good staff that makes you feel absolutely at home. They have an excellent chef. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but lack some furniture and hangers to stow away cloths. If you can, get... More

Although not the luxury of some lodges, this place is more than adequate, very well managed by Bosco and very helpful in ensuring you enjoy your stay. We spent four wonderful days here, gorilla trekking, community walk, visiting a prexmas market in a local village and mowing the local football field ( thanks to Bosco for loaning the mower!) and... We stayed 3 nights in the "lazy camping" tents above the main building and bungalows. We did this in several places in Uganda to save on cost. This version of it was OK with two single beds in a smaller tent with facilities (including hot showers) a short walk away. The setting is awesome. Service was the best we had... More

An outstanding place to stay. Great staff, beautiful rooms and the best food we have had in Uganda. Unfortunately we had no ensuite bathroom in our room and when we arrived one of the shared showers was broken. But we told this to the staff and they fixed it the next day - thumbs up! The best invention ever: while... More

This was by far my favorite lodge on our trip - and I was happy with every place we stayed. The ensuite cottage we stayed in was beautiful - extremely comfortable bed, everything in good order, nicely decorated. Good view from the room. A hot water bottle that stayed warm all night. The food was really very good - I... More

My wife and I traveled to Uganda in July 2014. We spent 3 days at the Nkuringo Gorilla Camp and wished we had stayed longer. Our room was warm, spotless, clean, and comfortable. The showers were hot, and the restroom was clean. The food is amazing, any foodie out there would love it. The night sky at the camp can't... More

Excellent rooms, bathrooms, and views. Also beautiful dining and seating area looking out over the views. Staff are all extremely helpful and dedicated to looking after you, including hot water bottles in your bed at night :) All food freshly cooked on site and tastes delicious, especially their home made bread

friendly and helpful staff, great food, comfortable rooms. this is a great place to stay if you are thinking of going gorilla tracking. Much quieter than other tracking sites, when we went my partner and I were the only ones going to see the Nkuringo group, who have a young infant right now. the on-site craft shop run by Guest... Best staff, accomodation, food, ambiance and location in Bwindi. Surpassed my expectations, I was devasted to leave. I felt safe and at home, and the staff and owner Lydia treated me like family. I would return tomorrow.

This lodge seems to be undergoing renovation with some of the rooms being done up while we were there. We had a cottage to ourselves which was by far the nicest room we stayed in in Uganda, brand new, spacious and well decorated. 4 course set dinner served at night. It can get a little cold but staff are very... More
