Spent two nights here- very quiet spot with a wonderful views of false bay, and a do-able walk to Simon's Town itself. Room was a decent size, queen bed, plenty of storage, tv, free wifi, little balcony with lovely views. Bed was very comfy, room had adequate heating. Bathroom was good size- my only issue would be with the height... More

April 2014, spent few nights with my wife and parents. The rooms are not too large but pretty nice, the view is also very good. small restaurant and lounge, but very well decorated. Will be glad to stay again. do note this is a half "do it yourself" inn.

Lovely views, very pretty décor. Breakfast was divine and fresh, the staff were friendly and helpful. Simons Town is a small quiet town great for some R&R just what we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had our wedding here in April 2014 and wow, what a wonderful weekend. The location is just perfect, with the most amazing views. We had a typical windy Cape day but that didn't take away from the setting, just made it a little more romantic. Dominique and her team went out of their way to make our celebration really... More

We recently hired the whole guest house to host our intimate wedding. Dominique and her staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our two day stay and all our guests keep saying what an amazing time they had there. Dominique was especially helpful as she did all the organising for us with suppliers etc. as we are from overseas. Food... More

A recent trip to Cape Town was somewhat botched by Kulula and we ended up at the Whale View Manor as a substitute. The accommodation is acceptable and clean. The facilities provided in the rooms are poor. There is a shared coffee/tea station in the passage with a fridge to be shared by 4 rooms. We had 2 rooms mountain... More

This is an excellent hotel. We booked a meal for the first night and the restaurant was quiet but the food was excellent. All home made. Breakfast was also an informal but very tasty and filling. The views out to sea and a sandy beach are excellent. Nearby is the penguin beach at Boulders (10 mins walking). It is also... More

We so enjoyed a very relaxing stay at this beautiful guest house in Simonstown. Welcomed by friendly and efficient staff with Dominique so extremely helpful and accommodating right from the time we made our booking till we departed. We recently returned from an African holiday. We stayed at some fantastic places, and Whale View Manor was definitely one of them. Right from making the booking online, I knew we would feel comfortable there. It is beautifully positioned, with great views from your room of the sunrise over the Bay. The staff were great and the food was amazing.... More
