Staying at Bosky dell in Simon's Town was the highlight of our one month holiday in South Africa. The grounds are situated right behind boulder's Beach, where the penguins are. There is a path from the garden leading Down to the beach. You have to pay an admission (day tickets 60 rand, 30 for kids) to enter the beach itself,... More

We stayed in the Stables for 5 nights. Loved every moment. Don't expect luxury, there are plenty upmarket places in Simonstown for that. If it's simple clean accommodation right next to the beach and friendly staff, Bosky Dell is the place to go. We have found our permanent choice of accommodation in Simonstown.

We cannot stay away! Bosky Dell is an old colonial house which has been converted into a number of basic self catering units. They are not posh but they are clean and have character with delightful staff to look after them. We always try to stay in the Stables which is a double studio. The view is fantastic overlooking the... More

The main house at Boskey Dell is, as one of the other reviewers says, a 'hidden gem' in Boulders. It is one of the oldest houses there and feels like the home of a comfortably off auntie. Its a holiday home not a luxury hotel suite. The luxury that it offers comes not in the decor, the towels or soaps... More

We spent a night here in Unit B, for six people. A beautiful location, yes, although the unit had no view. Spotlessly clean, yes, though not in the best state of repair. However, for a self catering place it is hopelessly underequipped. A one cup plunger fir six people? Scant serving dishes? No barbecue equipment (very strange for South Africa)?... More

I loved this spot..Will definitely recommend and be back. I found Bosky Dell to be a great self catering option if you're wanting to explore Cape Town's Southern peninsula or just wanting time out in a beautiful place. It's just outside of Simonstown and beyond the railway line so you'll need a car. It's more about position than boutique accomodation.... More

My husband and I rented the main house so that we were in walking distance of our wedding ceremony (Windmill Beach) and reception (Blue Horizon). Well what a great choice we made! Ros and her team at Bosky were nothing short of delightfully warm and accommodating. The house was HUGE and so quaint our relatives were blown away by its... More

We stayed at Bosky Dell for 5 nights, including New Year's Eve, 2013. There were 8 of us in all -- a family of 4 in Cottage B, a couple in Coach House, and my husband I in the Stables. The location is outstanding! Yes, it is basic, but it is clean and harkens back to a simpler time. I... More

Bosky Dell needs to be added to Trip Advisor's Hidden Gem list! What a fabulous place in one of the most beautiful parts of the Cape Peninsula. For those of us who can't afford to have our own holiday house there, it offers a lovely taste of what it would be like..... As mentioned in previous reviews, it's not fancy... More

This cluster of self catering accommodation is located in a wonderful position overlooking Boulders Beach, about 45 mins drive south of Cape Town. We based ourselves at Bosky Dell for six nights and wished we'd stayed longer. It was a great location for exploring the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the fabulous beaches along the Atlantic Coast such... More
