We spent 3 nights here and can only say if you are wondering whether to go and stay don't hesitate. The owners and staff do everything they can to make sure your stay with them is a great experience. Our room was beautiful, as was breakfast, and the view just amazing. It was a great base to explore the area.... More

My parents and I stayed at The Boat House for two nights .. it is such a beautiful place! We got blown away not only by the nicely decorated rooms, the view, the divine breakfast but also by the great hospitality! especially Geraldine makes you feel like home with her charm and humor. After we left Simons Town we travelled... More

Left this morning after two delightful nights, wish we had booked a longer stay. The owners go out of their way to provide guests with every conceivable extra to make the stay pleasurable. Breakfast was amazing, tasty & well presented. Staff wonderful, an asset to any business. Thank You for a truly fantastic experience, hope to visit again soon.

Clean comfortable accommodation, with superb views and very helpful owners and staff. This has to be one of the best B&Bs we've every stayed in. We've stay in the Cape Town area on a couple of other occasions and were very glad we chose Simon's Town this time - it has everything, great scenery, good access to the Cape, a... More

When I booked this B&B I knew it was lovely due to the pictures and reviews in trip advisor, but I had no idea it could actually be one of the best places I've ever stayed. Each corner is carefully decorated, all the details are taken care of and the hosts are absolutely amazing. Breakfast is delicious, we were received... More

You couldn't ask for friendlier hosts and staff. This is a gem of a B&B, with fantastic views over false bay. It is a few minutes from town by car, and a safe walk into town and back as long as you don't mind a steep hill (drink some fabulous South African wine in one of the restaurants and it... More

My wife and I had a delightful stay at The Boat House for three nights in December. We used Simonstown as our base for exploring the marvellous park on the Cape Peninsula. The owners really put themselves out to make this place charming, homey and comfortable. There is a pool in a cavernous room, and a very interesting space it... More

The house, the hosts, the rooms, the view, the breakfast, the staff... just every detail about the guesthouse is wonderful. It is one of those places where you wish to come back for another stay. Its a good base for exploring the cape (including Hout Bay) and all the (wider) area around False Bay. Really amazing house and friendly people!... More

Just returned from 10 Fantastic nights at the Boathouse. It is a stunning property with the most fantastic views over the Bay and Marina. The rooms are very modern and spotlessly clean and the attention to detail is faultless. The breakfast was a real highlight with a choice of various freshly cooked to order options with endless fresh Coffee or... More

The Boat House was our first stop directly from the plane from Denmark. We were tired and hungry and what a welcome. Immediately we had a fresh coffee and freshly baked muffins, just what we needed. And this was what we experienced all the time during our stay. Both hosts and staff were very great people who did their utmost... More
