Thus hotel is one of the first hotels ever built in Asahikawa. The decoration around and inside the hotel is in a classic European style with dark woods. The room was very nice, clean and well equipped with amenities. Tea and coffee were provided (no complimentary bottled water). Service was great. Staff were all very polite and helpful.

The hotel is located within a 15min walk from the Asahikawa JR station. There are many ramen restaurants on the way between the JR station and the hotel. I had a twin room and it was small even compared to Japan standard. I barely had room to open my luggage. However the hotel is very clean and the lobby feels... More

We arrived at Chitose airport and drove to this hotel on arrival. Easy to find and parking is available. Parking is in automated and space efficient. One just has to drive to the spot and the system will takeover. It is near to the Biei and patchwork hills area. We used this place as a base to visit the Takinoue... More

We stayed in a triple room which is bigger than ordinary room in Japan. (more than 300 sq ft) We booked the hotel with breakfast through her website. This is cheaper than from our agency since the hotel can offer early-bird discounted price. The breakfast is excellent with a variety of high-quality food. If the restaurant at G/F is full,... More

Pretty good hotel in town, not far to JR (approximate 15 min by walk). Great decoration in the lobby and the staff are very friendly with good service. Room space is ok, not too samll. Breakfast is good! Recommend!!

My wife and I drove throughout Hokkaido starting from Chitose Airport to Kushiro, Lake Akan, Monbetsu, Asahikawa and ending in Sapporo. We stopped in Asahikawa to visit the zoo. Unfortunately the zoo is closed for most of April. My mistake for not checking. However there were more then enough activities close to the hotel to keep us entertained. I booked... More

Good location in this "classic" hotel with an English country side style. Hotel is well kept. Great onsen, do not miss the shihatsu massage, which is amazing. Breakfast is super both Japanese and western food. Service is just perfect. Fantastic value for money.

Service at the hotel was really good. Check in time was 3pm. We arrived but the room wasn't ready. The check in counter staff asked us to wait for 30min at the bar area and gave us each a free drink of our choice. Helped us with our luggages voluntarily once we arrived at the hotel door until our rooms.... More

Everything is perfect about this hotel. From the hotel staff to the dining area for breakfast. Room is a little dated ~ doesnt seem to match up with the ambience of the grand lobby. A nice walk near hewa dori kaimono koen but even during summer shops are closed by 730pm.

Being about 10-15 minutes on foot from JR Asahikawa Station you may want to take a taxi considering this is one of the coldest places in Japan. Although it's not impossible to walk the distance up the main street to the hotel, as the pavements are generally kept clear of much of the ice & snow, it can get slippery... More
