Greetings from Geoffrey Goh. The air con was not working. It would be perfectly ok not to turn on the air con since outside was 10 deg in the evening. But the windows were completely sealed. We searched in vain for any possibility to open a small gap. In desperation we called the hotel Front Desk. "we have switched off... More

We stayed in Asahikawa just for one night before heading to Furano. There is more hotel choices in Asahikawa than Furano to be honest especially during the peak season in July. Driving to Furano took about two hours and Biei for about an hour. It is just one straight road next to the train railway which is quite interesting. We... More

We stayed at this hotel in July. It was a very large hotel with a nice lobby and several dining choices. We enjoyed eating the buffet dinner at the hotel both nights (ask for a reservation) good choices for adults and children. However, we chose not to eat the breakfast because it was mostly only japanese offerings and we prefer... More

The hotel is close to the park and the main walking street. Very convenient location. The room was clean and neat. Big bathtub and nice toiletries. The pajama was very comfy! The staff were somehow not so friendly. Hotel's bakery didn't open until almost 10am, but it happened at the other hotel too.

We stayed in Asahikawa on our way to Taisetsuzan National Park. The hotel was reasonably located and walkable from the station and not far from the park. Our reasonably sized room looked out to the snow covered mountains and had an opening window, which we like. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in one of the hotels restaurants - Arashiyama. As... More

We were there in Feb 2014 during the last day of the snow festival. We walked from the Asahikawa JR station to the hotel and was able to enjoy to see all the ice sculptures on Kaimono Koen. At first, I was worried about how long it will take us to get from the JR station to the hotel but... More

This is a rather tired hotel. Generally the hotel appears rather old and poorly lit. We were given a first room which had a smell and we asked for a room change. The staff were unenthusiastic and you have to pay for parking. Do not be fooled by the spa pictures, you have to pay for entry even when you... More

Myself and a group of 3 friends chose this hotel as our place of stay for 9 nights in Asahikawa and we had 2 twin rooms between us all. The rooms were nice and clean and we had a good view from the 12th floor. The rooms were a bit on the small side but that is to be expected... More

This was not my first choice of hotel but we didn't have much alternatives due to most hotels being booked out during this winter peak season. This was more of a business hotel, but we saw quite a number of tourists staying there as well. The rooms were surprisingly quite big, and wifi was provided free in the room. Breakfast... More

I was expecting a budget-type hotel, but lobby was definitely at least 4-star, fairly lavish, rooms were spacious with big beds (2 super single beds for the twin room), and was the only hotel on our entire trip that provided bottled water (with hotel name printed, no less), all in all was a very comfortable stay. There's a Seicomart just... More
