One of many hotels in Wadi Mousa near Petra. Although the room was more than adequate, it was the staff, the restaurant, the breakfast and especially the views of the area and sunset from the restaurant terrace that were outstanding. The pool is a bonus and we had it to ourselves.

For my surprise the minibar showed me some beer bottles! I was thrilled! When I got them in my hand I realized they were all alcohool free. It makes no sense. People from Jordam do not drink it, ok. What about the tourist? Why not? I felt very disapointed. The hotel is comfortable and nice. People are friendly. But, it... More

I stayed one night. It was fine. The king bed and pillows were really great, the decor nice, shower and wifi good, lots of food at the free breakfast 6-9:30, dinner buffet available for extra. It was very quiet. It was the only night of my stay during Ramadan where I was not awoken by any noise. One of the... More

Been here 3 times and always satisfied. It is a family owned hotel, the rooms are clean and spacious, the food is good and the location is in the city near some restaurants and shops. You will need to take transportation from the hotel to Petra entrance but probably the hotel is offering it for free. The price is reasonable.

The Amra Palace was part of a tour. The staff was always trying to please, but the facility needs serious renovation. The rooms were very small, but the bed was comfy. The bathroom was also very small but adequate. The elevator was slow and seemed ancient. We had both breakfast and dinner included at the hotel. The food was good,... More

Stayed here for two nights in May 2015. A welcome cold drink on arrival with warm greetings. Rooms quite nice and comfy large double bed - but certainly not pristine. Lift available to rooms. Breakfast quite nice, with freshly cooked eggs/omelettes to your requirements. Ate in one night to buffet dinner - quite nice and very good value (compares well... More

We visited Petra on a package tour through Eco Tours. Tour operation was very well organized, however the choice of hotel was awful. Hotel needed some TLC everything looked broken. Dinner was inedible and breakfast the next morning was just as bad. The saving grace of the hotel was the very sweet and kind staff. We have let Eco Tours... More

Certainly no palace! Spent 1 night as part of a Petra tour package from Eilat. Hotel is old and very in need of an overall. Rooms are tired, bathrooms very small and old. Pool was indoors and not too bad. Food...we had dinner and breakfast...was inedible. The only thing that was good was the attitude and service of the staff.... More

Stayed here for one night during a two day trip to Petra. Staff was extremely friendly during the stay, especially nice to our two year old son who can be a handful at times. Breakfast in the morning was adequate and offered a nice selection of fruits and salads. Only comment for improvement was that we wanted to enjoy the... More

We stayed at the Amra Palace for 2 nights as part of a group tour to Petra. The hotel is an old, small hotel with small-sized rooms (bring soap). There is a mini fridge; safe (bolted to the closet wall), pool and Turkish bath (massages are available for a fee). If you have to do laundry, the hotel's rates are... More
