Al Rashid hotel is definitely the best choice if you want to visit the ancient city of Petra. Firstly I booked my room for only one night, but the room and the staff was so nice, that I changed my mind and stayed one more night. This hotel is not located exactly next to the entrance of Petra, you have... More

Really nice hotel !!! It is about 1.3km far from the entrance of Petra; very clean rooms, extremely kind and helpful staff with any information and advices. The breakfast was delicious - traditional dishes. Across the hotel there are several restaurants. The famous one is Al-Arabi restaurant. I tried the meal in the next one - Al-Wadi. It is not... The Al Rashid is a quiet, comfortable hotel in Wadi Moussa. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is basic but tasty. Near the hotel are several restaurants and supermarkets. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great choice for your stay in Petra!

The Al Rashid was clean and near lots of places to eat and small shops. It was quiet and the staff helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The bathroom and shower were great.Outside the hotel it is pretty condensed with traffic and older buildings and litter (pretty much the same all over in Wadi Musa except for... More

I expected this hotel to be similar to other budget hotels in Jordan, but it exceeded my expectation. (It's better than the hotel I stayed at in London!) I stayed here for four nights with a friend. The room is clean and of a decent size. The only negative is that the shower doors in our room didn't close completely... More

We have been in many hotels in Jordan and Al Rashid was really the best. We felt welcome from the first moment. The owner and staff was very kind and very helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and above all they have very good bathrooms with big showers, hot water and very good water pressure. This we found is really... More

We spent one night in a double room and it was everything we needed. Don't expect anything special, the room is just fine with ac, flat tv, cabin shower. However you probably are not going to spend a lot of time in it. Breakfast is typical jordanian. The best thing we had, was the hospitality and kindness of the staff.... More
