A group of 27 pilgrims were welcomed acceptably. Cases distributed efficiently around to rooms, some of which had wonderful views of Petra mountains, and some with deceptively excellent bathrooms with walk in showers etc. The hotel sprawls across a former village site on a hillside which challenges even the orienteers among you to find your way even with map provided.... I would stay here again just for its unique ambiance. This "village" is beautifully designed with cozy, rustic simplicity. The views are beautiful. Although our ceiling fan did not work, the maintenance staff worked diligently to fix the problem. However, we ended up changing rooms. Breakfast and dinner consisted of typical Jordanian food, a lovely treat especially when sitting and... More

What a gross place. This is located high on a cliff edge with marvelous views of the valley. It looks reminiscent of times when very early crusaders might have lived and stabled their animals there. It is a tiny stone village comprised of these carved out places in the hill where rooms have been added. The interiors have crudely whitewashed... More

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and service at this hotel. It is spread out over a mountainside and if you have trouble with steps, ask for a room on the upper level. The food was great! The view outside our room was fantastic!

Stayed here one night during our Israel Holy Land tour in June 2014. This was a small village converted into a boutique hotel. Each room is different. Small cobblestone hallways guide you through this quiet, quaint place. We were in room 206. It had an excellent view out the window down the valley. The sunset was wonderful. The room was... More

My wife and I stayed one night during a tour of Israel and Jordan. Our guide said we'd like the place - what an understatement!! We have travelled extensively and have never found a hotel like this one anywhere - I felt like we were back in the Arabian Nights! It took us a while to find our room, but... More

Very nice location. Stayed there for 2 nights with a group. Room was large, a/c worked great. Room met all my expectations. Interesting grounds to wonder around. Could get lost without the mapm you are given with your key. Interesting shops, food was good.. I would stay here again !

I was traveling with a group in Israel and Jordan and we had one night's stay at Taybet Zaman Hotel. The words quaint, unique, old world, rambling and rustic describe this hotel, but they do not do it justice. This hotel is a wonderfully refreshing change from the myriad of hotels that have a big marble-floored lobby and a surly... More

It is a nice hotel, was the old village before now turned to a hotel,it is not a 5 star service. The rooms are big and nice but the bathrooms are not great , need a big renovation. Has one restaurant the lunch is better than the dinner . It is buffet at the dinner time. The hotel had lots... More
