Usually only write reviews about hotels I love and i am not someone who likes to moan but this hotel i had to write about. I wont repeat what everyone says about the style it is different, but i will say that there are some health and safety issues that they need to address. On the terrace above the pool... More

If you are looking for a local Bedouin style hotel this will be one. The rooms we stayed had a good size with simple furniture. The TV in the room was old and it didn't work. There's no kettle in the room to make tea or coffee. To enjoy the gorgeous views of the area, one must leave the room... More

This hotel was actually a village that was covered and a hotel was built. It is very unique. However it is far from a five star hotel but if you don't mind the lacking of some of the fancy amenities you find at five star hotels this hotel is worth checking out one negative is they allow smoking in the... We arrived after nightfall to the hotel, so we did not get to see the breath-taking view overlooking the Jordan countryside until dawn. What a moment. I was by myself when I gazed upon the mountain side and down below the King's Road. We were part of a tour that began in Cairo and Sinai. Jordan was our next stop,... More

The hotel is basic if u want the Bedouin experience. Don't expect tea or coffee in the room. Staff friendly. The view surrounding the hotel is beautiful. It is about a 20 min drive to Petra. Breakfast good but basic. Room cold would be gud in summer.

The concept of the hotel is good (a converted village) that is a 15 minute drive to Petra. There's nothing you can walk to. The rooms are spacious and clean but ours was very musty and the shower had luke warm water at best. Dinner is a big buffet that is ok with plenty of options. Wifi only in the... More

This hotel is an old village converted into a hotel. The rooms are large (since they were old houses). The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, but somewhat limited. We just enjoyed walking around the property since it had a very old feel to it.

This was one of three hotels booked by our travel agents while staying in Jordan. It was the one we were most looking forward to but turned out to be very mediocre. The staff didn't appear too concerned about much, especially not about the clients. Our first room was so cold, the wind gusting through both door and window, we... More

The room we stayed in was not very comfortable, though it was fairly large. Beds were lumpy and old, bath was small, clean enough, but not great. The restaurant was better. We had good food at the buffet, lots of choices and helpful service. We were staying here before our visit to Petra, and as a quick layover, it wasn't... More

We stayed 2 nights in Taybet Zaman hotel. On the whole, the hotel is far from the 5 stars announced by Jordan Tourist agency... Located 10km away from Petra site entrance, the hotel is not indicated in Petra. There is even a major mistake on Petra information boards with a wrong location. But Jordan nationals are very kind, friendly and... More
