It is a very old hotel which needs some renovation, but not so derelict as many people here. overall it was good and it was very well located close to the gate of Petra, and close to many restaurants. The breakfast was nice and good with a huge selection, at this price range. The wifi was available only in the... More

The least friendly receptionist, the worst food the stickyest carpets, the most falling to pieces room furniture and the worst breakfasts of our week's stay in Jordan. Having said that it's very close to the wonderful Petra site and there is a nice restaurant Three Steps very nearby.

I really enjoyed my trip to Petra, I spent as much time as I could with the local people but it was nice to have the Petra Palace as a home base. The staff is super sweet (say hi to George if you go :-) They have a great breakfast, and it is a big place. I travel alone but... More

You can't really do much better than this hotel for being able to walk to the attractions of the Lost City of Petra. Although on the main road through the new town we found it peaceful at night, but easy walking distance of a good choice of restaurants and loads of souvenir shops. Restaurant in the hotel is fine, rooms... More

We have stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We were supposed to have a triple room but they upgraded our reservation to 2 doulbes for the same price due to logistic reasons of them. Rooms were clean and fine overall. The first night we had dinner at the bar. The reastaurant was closed due to the little occupancy rate... More

The rooms were spacious and the rooms allotted to us has double beds though we had booked single rooms. We had requested vegetarian lunch and we got a good lunch.Complimentary Breakfast was ok. We found... More

The hotel is in prime location if you just want to see the Petra Archeological Park. It's like 300 yards from the plaza that leads to the main gate. Otherwise, it's just a 2-star hotel with very basic furnishings. It has a pool which would probably be nice if you're on an extended stay and has time to spare, and... More

I have been staying at this hotel twice (October 213 and May 2014). The hotel is very convenient near the entrance to Petra. Nice rooms. Fine little swimmingpool. The brekfast buffet is good, the evening buffet is ok.

Good standard for this hotel located closed to the Petra entrance site. The rooms are large, it is quiet and well decorated, The staff is nice and friendly. Only problem, the food, good but too much international. Closed to the hotel there is the Red Cave which is fabulous and welcoming with real jordan food. You can buy the tickets... More
