We stayed as a group of six at this hotel for one night whilst visiting Petra. I have been to Petra before and had a bad experience in a previous hotel. So was weary and critical. But I was very pleasantly surprised at the Petra Palace. The staff are very accommodating and polite. The hotel is clean and rooms are... More

The hotel is ideal for its walking distance to the Petra's complex entrance. It is cheap compared to other places in Jordan. The rooms are spacious and decent. There's internet and good food options around the hotel. You really need to consider this place because it offers you what you need after a long walking day under the sun. You'll... More

My choice fell upon Petra Palace after scouring through the choices available in Petra. You really cannot go wrong here... it is literally a stone's throw from the Visitors Centre and Gate of Petra, just a short walk. An added bonus if one wants to go to "Petra by night", close to "home". The rooms are clean albeit a bit... More

The hotel is within walking distance to Petra Ruins site and has a nice small pool - that's all I can say as positive features. Old, run down,wi-fi only in the lobby; terrible noise from the A/C unit - couldn't sleep at all, breakfast - really awful. Food acceptable, but not available every day. No, I wouldn't recommend it.

Hotel is within walking distance to Petra Ruins site. Hotel is larger than it appears with two swimming pools. Rooms are large and windows can open onto courtyard and pool. Water is scarce in southern Jordan so hotel flow is slow but very adequate. Staff pleasant, food is on par with a tourist hotel but one does not go hungry.... More

As many reviewers already said, the location is priceless. Less than 5 minutes walk to Petra Visitor center and the top restaurants are located right next door. The hotel also have a bar with reasonable priced beers. The restaurant is average and only seem to offer buffet for dinner - a very popular choice I noticed but my recommendation would... More

One might think that with the captive audience in Petra as the tourists are very stuck there, the natives would want to create a nicer experience. However, the hotel was as run down as was the city, and the architectural magnificence that is Petra causes one to wonder what people were there to create it since those are are there... More

I would recommend this hotel due to its location. It is a 5 minute walk to the Petra ticket office and close to a variety of restaurants. It is close to convenient stores where you can buy some fruits, snacks & cheap bottled water to take into Petra. We paid $82 AUD for one night, and considering its location, it... More

Spent a couple of days at this hotel as part of an Explore Family Adventure on the leg of our journey to visit Petra, therefore we did not choose or book it ourself. The rooms were VERY tired and there was NO hot water, what came out of the taps was at a dribble. My husband and son's room stunk... More

We spent one night in this hotel due to the agency ABOVE AND BELOW from Aqaba, which has organized for us two day in Petra with overnight stay at the hotel included breakfast and dinner. Located 5 minutes from the main entrance to Petra. There are two swimming pools. We planned to take a swim after a day of touring,... More
