A very old hotel that needs a serious renovation if it is to compete with the many hotels in petra. Good location 5 min walk from Petra tourist entrance, but the rooms were old and the whole place smelled of tobacco smoke. Breakfast buffet was very average and lots of the hot food was cold. Wifi is only in the... More

The best feature of this hotel is that it's only a 5 minute walk from the entrance to Petra, making it ideal for anyone desiring a mid day break while exploring the site twice in one day. The beds and furnishings are adequate for a budget hotel along with the breakfast buffet. There is free WiFi service, but it's rather... More

First off the staff we encountered ranged from very friendly to standoffish. The guy who checked us in offered to give us another room for free since he thought we needed the space (we didn't). This place is in dire need of updates; it has the feel of a 90's Motel 6. Hallways are cramped and dark, rooms are very... More

This hotel is 5 min walking from the entrance of the ancient Petra site, making it a great spot for exploring the site. A good make-up would be beneficial, but overall is a nice place and good value for money compared to the other options in the area. Pretty close to a couple of good restaurants!

Yes, the location is great. You can walk to Petra's entrance and to many restaurants. However, the management of this hotel is letting this hotel decline and you notice it every minute of your stay. To say the hallways are dark and dingy is an understatement. A fresh coat of paint and some modern lighting would go a long way.... More

Large foyer and a pub style bar serving alcohol. Bedroom was tidy and clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast wasn't great. There was a very small outside pool, but it had leaves in from the trees surrounding it.

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the ruins of Petra, just a 5 minute walk to the entrance. The rooms are ok if a little tired, but they are clean. The breakfast is quite good and the also have a bar, which is a real bonus.

The hotel is clean and staff friendly. Overall the hotel is looking tired and needs some maintenance and updates. Wifi is available in public areas but is slow. Food generally good. However its main advantage is that it's 5 mins from the entrance to Petra which is a great bonus.

The Petra Palace Hotel is on the same road as the Movenpick Hotel with some tourist shops and restaurants. The hotel is may be 5-minute walk to the ticket office of Petra Archeological Park. This is not a fancy hotel but very clean and will be adequate for you visit. The rooms are sizable with normal sized bathroom, has a... More

A large and well presented hotel with nice common areas, swimming pools and bar. The room was functional although slightly tired but with air conditioning and a small fridge. Breakfast was inclusive but quite basic with little variety day to day. Dinner was much more extravagant and a buffet style with many dishes for 12JD. There is free parking outside... More
