We have stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We were supposed to have a triple room but they upgraded our reservation to 2 doulbes for the same price due to logistic reasons of them. Rooms were clean and fine overall. The first night we had dinner at the bar. The reastaurant was closed due to the little occupancy rate... More

We booked the Petra Palace hotel because it is a very short walk from the Hotel to the entrance to Petra. We got a cheap rate too. The rooms were spacious and the rooms allotted to us has double beds though we had booked single rooms. We had requested vegetarian lunch and we got a good lunch.Complimentary Breakfast was ok. We found... More

The hotel is in prime location if you just want to see the Petra Archeological Park. It's like 300 yards from the plaza that leads to the main gate. Otherwise, it's just a 2-star hotel with very basic furnishings. It has a pool which would probably be nice if you're on an extended stay and has time to spare, and... More

I have been staying at this hotel twice (October 213 and May 2014). The hotel is very convenient near the entrance to Petra. Nice rooms. Fine little swimmingpool. The brekfast buffet is good, the evening buffet is ok.

Good standard for this hotel located closed to the Petra entrance site. The rooms are large, it is quiet and well decorated, The staff is nice and friendly. Only problem, the food, good but too much international. Closed to the hotel there is the Red Cave which is fabulous and welcoming with real jordan food. You can buy the tickets... More

The location was probably the best thing about this hotel. About a 5 minute walk down the main street to the gates of Petra! The rooms were nice and clean. The hallways and other areas of the hotel looked a bit run down - peeling paint and stained carpets. One of the elevators was out of order while we were... More

We chose this hotel for it's location and ability to accommodate our family of five. The beds were very large, king sized, and comfortable. Thank fully we had a non-smoking room. This is important inJordan where there is lots of smoking and some hotels are quite ripe with the odour of stale smoke. The bathroom was also large. The shower... More

Very close to the entrance to Petra which is the reason for visiting. Comfortable rooms, I thought the food was good, especially the choice of pastries at breakfast and drinks service was good at dinner. Only issue was no option of hot water at breakfast but they provided it when asked. Good free wifi in the lobby.

Tired & worn out like an old motel. Cleanliness just about acceptable. Buffet dinner by the poolside was inedible. Could only stomach the boiled eggs and cereal for breakfast. Location was the only good thing, about 200m to the entrance to the Siq.
